Jayden's P.O.V.

I wake up sun shining brightly into my eyes, asking myself how the fuck i got here?. I attempt to sit up and instantly regret it due to my head feels like its being hammered by a rock. I groan loudly and sit up again walking towards my bathroom and washing my face before walking back into my room and getting changed into some new clothes, as im doing so my head starts to swarm with the memeories of what happened last night. I instantly feel my emotions kick in feeling guilty, regretful and most of all mad at myself for falling into that trance. I exit my room and head down the stairs to fix my headache, but the last thing i expected to see was my brother and Julie sitting hand in hand cuddled together watching a movie.

"Morning" i say my throat burning at the use of my voice, making it sound croaky. Julie's body jumps at the sound of my voice and both of them spin there heads around to look at me, eyes filled with worry. Julie untangles herself from my brother and walks up to me cuddling into my arms, im a bit thrown off by her affection but easily relax and hug her back resting my head on top of hers.

"are you okay?" she mumbles into my chest.

"Not really, feel like shit killer headache" i groan. "How is Bree doing?" i ask worried, hoping she is okay. Julie pulls away from me and fills up a glass of water and grabs two tablets of nurofen handing them to me. "Thanks" i say swallowing the water and tablets as she speaks.

"Take them it will help, Umm she is okay doing better than before the doctors are still keeping a close eye on her and running tests, and it turns out the cancer hasnt come back but the possiblilty of memory loss is still there." She said fiddling with her fingers and eyes starting to water.

"It's good to hear that the cancer hasnt come back , but it still doesnt change that she is in a coma....i really need to see her today... just so i know she is alright." I say starting to feel my eyes burn. Julie moves closer and hugs me tightly again.

"It will be okay Jay.." she whispered very quietly, but i heard it. I finally pulled away from the embrace and walked towards my brother.

"Thanks for taking care of me last night brother" i whispered to him, so only he could hear.

"No problem, got your back for life" he whispered back, while i smiled to myself starting to walk off but was quickly haulted when he jumped onto my back hugging me.

"I knew you have a soft spot for me!" he said laughing, me joining in shortly after.

"Have you got any plans today?" he asked me, hopping off my back.

"No, just want to see Bree.." i say in a cracked voice, rubbing my neck awkwardly.

"Well, i was wondering if you wanted to go have lunch at a cafe or something, just brother bonding?" he asked also rubbing the back of his neck.

"Umm.. sure okay, what time?" i asked. When we were younger we would always have brother bonding time and hang out, but latley we have been slack and ive been a shit brother to him just thinking about myself. So i guess we both kinda need this, we still are close but i want the bond back it just feels faded now.

"Well how bout 12?, it already 11:30" he said.

"Cool, ill go get ready" i spoke before running up the stairs and jumping in the shower.

We are sitting in the car driving to our favourite burger and steak house for lunch. Julie got picked up by her mother before we left so now its just us two chilling in the car. I keep my eyes glued to the road as Alec blabs on about his realtionship with Julie.
