As the sun began to set, I took a deep breath and turned my back on it. The purple hue covered the sky behind me and I stood watching the moon rise. My heartbeat does up and I began to sweat, whether it was from my nerves or whether it was because of the curse I couldn't tell you.

Slowly the moon rise higher in to the sky, ebony was now the colour with thousands of white lights shining down. It was a tranquil moment as the world stood frozen in its sleep.

I wish I could sleep.

I didn't move and I felt myself begin to ache from standing still for so long but as the moon suddenly moved higher my body was over come with the heat of the desert. Tears sprung to my eyes as I felt the change come.

The curse was not broken.

I sobbed as the change came quickly and I stood on the paws of the beast that lived inside me. Even the beast broke down, though it was me and I was it. We were at times separate and even it wanted the peace of death to come. As the beast was chained to this world as I.

Together we howled along with the wild wolves, our hearts breaking and we knew then that we had to leave Daniel behind. We could not carry on knowing this curse was still alive. It would break his heart by all means but at the end of it, him having me for leaving was much better then him scared and hating for beast that I became.
