"Mr. Askhue, I will not repeat myself" I sigh "give me one good reason why I should swap companies?" I look at the camera so it seems I'm looking directly in his eyes.

"I... I... erm..." he coughs "erm..."

"The fault with humanity ma'am is the wording of e r m" my assistant sighs.

"Thank you for your time and call mr. Askhue. I will review the meeting and let you know in four days time" I end the call and lean back.

"Mom, it's fine. Men will be men" I smile at my son and nod in agreement, men these days are blithering worms.

"Shall I prepare the letter of disagreement ma'am?"

"You may henil, I'm out the office for the next two weeks. Can you cover for me?"

"As always, where are you off to nice?" He asks removing my paper work.

"We're going to filkisha" Caelum smiles "I get to see the waterfalls and the animals. We're camping too" the excitement was evident in his voice and henil smiles at him.

For the past two hundred years aliens had called earth home as much as humans. For a few years there were fights till the alien races proved they could help save our planet and us.

I had started the shipping business when in was barely eighteen. With the need to give my child a normal life I pushed the limits no one dared to push. I was now the most successful shipping owner in the galaxy.

"Alright, we need to go home and pack. I'll see you in a few weeks Henil, my connector will be off during my time away. I need to spend some time with my son"

"I understand. Before you go can you sign my papers please?"

I look over the papers and read thoroughly. Some contractors will do things and cause problems with the aliens. It took racism to whole new level.

"I can never understand why they make you sign these silly papers for marriage. I'll be back soon and tell izzy her dress was perfect"

"I will do and thank you"

With a smile I take hold of my little man's hand and we leave the office. Our car waiting as a fresh tag of cloud pass by us. It was the best place to build a new office, somewhere where we could look out the window and appreciate the view of earth but also a place where the only distraction was the wind and the guy opposite you.

I wouldn't change my life for anything, as much as I worked I loved my son more and every chance we got we spent together.

This holiday was something we both needed recently.
