LOVE AND FAME? IT'S ALL A GAME {chapter 6}

RECAP: Avril and her sister Gianna, who is a big fan of Drew Dallas, go for a concert of the famous star Drew Dallas. There Avril calls Drew "a egoistic jerk who doesn't give a damn about his fans" and Drew overhears this comment. the next day there is an article in one magazine about Avril begging Drew to be his girlfriend and when he doesn't accept, Avril calls him gay and abuses him. Avril is shocked to read this. Drew, who got Avril's number from Gianna, calls her and tells her that all the misunderstanding will get sorted out as his manager, Alice Greene, will get to work immediately and tells her that he had no idea about the article. Avril is very worried about school and wants all the misunderstanding to be cleared before school starts.That night Drew sends Avril a message, telling her to sleep tight and not to dream too much about him. Avril falls asleep with a smile on her face. 

The next morning Avril gets teased by her neighbor about the article and Avril getting angry with Drew again calls him and shouts at him asking him to do something. he tells her that all work is being done. Drew then asks Avril out but she declines and slams the phone thinking that Drew is just playing around with her.

Chapter 6

“So Avril….how was it to be in the presence of someone so much more higher that you?” Grace smirked. “O wait a minute aren’t you in the presence of someone like that everyday…..”

“I have no idea who that is…” I muttered trying to control my temper.

“Well good thing I’m here because I’ll help you remember just who that is” She turned to look backwards “Right girls?”

“Yeah Grace totally” they practically fainted at being addressed by their queen.

Grace Samuels; now what can I say about her? Head cheerleader, dating the most popular guy in school, Class President for two whole years, Prom queen, teacher’s pet…need I say more? Did I also mention that one of her hobbies were to torment me? Well there you go I said it.

“Shitcake” wow a new name “That’s me of course. Right girls?”

“Totally” they breathed. Her ‘girls’ were a bunch of wannabes wanting to be just like their queen. No surprise there.

The thing was, no matter what comeback I say-which is usually witty, if I do say so myself- Grace Samuels with her followers still piss me off. It’s not like I can’t handle myself and all that. God forbid I start crying right then and there, they just don’t get it when to stop. Kind of like Gianna.

I was at school the next day, trying to mind my own business when lo and behold, there came Grace and her kingdom.

“Yes yes, Grace it was nice talking with you as well” I said and tried to push myself between all the other kids crowding the hallway.

“Hey Avril? I have a servant of mine who’s from Dallas. Would he do? I mean hey he is connected to Dallas in some way” she said loudly while all her other minions tittered nervously, almost scared to make a noise like it would upset their queen. Some people stopped to stare cause her voice was so damn loud.

I hadn’t really been assaulted as I put it by anyone other than Grace today. Hey I might be a bit aloof but I’m not a loner. I have friends too. So anyway Grace was actually about the only person I was worried about who would make a big issue of this whole drama. But me being always unlucky, there was also the fact that half of the school’s population was under Grace’s spell. I know right? Total unfairness of the world. So there was a good chance I would be branded as a weirdo and desperate freak by the end of the day.

Luckily I was saved from replying when the bell rang and I made a quick escape thanking the gods above. I quickly walked into my biology class and sat down at a table right at the back. I sighed. Just then Tara Smith came in and sat down next to me.
