Later that night I texted Nejire I was a little worried she would think I was clingy for texting her so soon but what was I supposed to do? Get her number and never text her?
You: Hey! It's (Y/n) this is Nejire right? Nejire: Yep! How's it goin'? You: good! You? Nejire: I'm doing good too. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go to that cafe downtown tomorrow. You: sure, what time? Nejire: We could meet after school at the front gates You: okay! See you then! Nejire: So it's a date! Perfect! You: wait really? Nejire: yeah! Of course. Unless you didn't want it to be. You: I've been crushing on you ever since I saw you on campus but seeing you in class today justified what I felt Nejire: Dang, you're so smart! You use big words and your quirk is really cool! I wish I could be like you! You: it's really the other way around! You're so so amazing I wish I could be like you. Nejire: I've gotta go to my work study! See you tomorrow! <3 You: bye! <3
I sighed in relief knowing now that I didn't have to be the one to confess. I still can't believe she actually likes me. Why? She deserves so much better... ~time skip~ (after school the next day)
"Hey (Y/n)-San! How are you?" "Good now that I'm going on a date with you" I laughed nervously knowing how cringe that was... "Don't be embarrassed that was cute!" "T-thanks..." we walked to the cafe and when we sat down in a nice corner booth Nejire looked at me sweetly. "I'm so glad you decided to come here with me! I was thinking after this we could go take a walk and maybe shop at the stores down here, my treat of course!" "No no no! You're already buying the sweets from here let me pay for that!" "No... (Y/n) let me do something more for you!" "No" "Yes" "No" "Yes" "Fine..." "Yay!!" After we ate we walked through the downtown shopping district. We mostly just window shopped but Nejire ended up buying me and her matching rings. They looked like this:
