Ever since the incident with his own classmate, the school grew quiet. Maybe because it was the popular, bitch ass student who never returned or it the alumni that always lingers around Jaemin.

No matter how many times Jaemin asked Mark to leave him alone, the older wouldn't budge. He would nonetheless follow the younger, protect the younger at all costs.

Currently, Jaemin was walking towards his home with Mark following him around. Jaemin let out a small sigh before making his way to his doorstep, unlocking the door and entering the empty house.

"Nana, " Mark called from behind. Jaemin responded with a hum as he put down his bag and walked straight to he kitchen.

"I'll be working late today okay? Don't sleep late. I don't like it when you wait for me." Mark said grabbing the younger's hand. Jaemin nodded, looking up to the older.

Mark let out a small chuckle as his hand made it's way towards Jaemin's soft cheek. "So cute." he said with a smile. Jaemin too smiled at the older. "Show me a smile Nana? Please?" Mark asked cutely.

Jaemin automatically smiled at the older, earning a kiss on his nose. "That's my Nana." Mark said again before hugging the younger and said his goodbyes.

As soon as Mark left, Jaemin smiled to himself but then thoughts began to flow into his mind. He does not understand why his heart was still beating loudly for the older. Though the possessive side of the older is showing, Jaemin absolutely loved it.

He loves it when the older was being overprotective of him. The way Mark shushed down the bully in the middle of the hallway was heart fluttering for him. He doesn't know why the teachers even let him be on school grounds so frequently but whatever the older was doing, Jaemin loves it.

He was thinking that he might be crazy for the older but in reality, it Mark who is crazy for Jaemin.

Time passed and the stars started to linger on sky with the moon beside them. Jaemin tried to sleep, cuddling around his blanket, hugging his pillow, hugging his favorite Ryan plushie. But all that's left was him with eyes wide open. He sighed as he glanced to the clock and the number 11:58 was written on it.

He groaned as he then turned to his side, burying his face into his window. His eyes admired the glittering stars on the sky, counting one by one, praying it will bore him. He then closed his eyes as he lay his back fully on the bed.

Coffee

He needed coffee in the middle of the night. Great timing. The brunette groaned as he sat up from his bed and to his closet picking out a pink colored hoodie doubling it on top of his black t-shirt. He walked out of the house then made his way down to a still open cafe.

Mark hyung said he was working late

Jaemin thought to himself as he turned to a corner, hoping nothing bad happened to him along the way. He then stopped in front of the older's workplace and see the lights were still on. It was one of those days where people hung out till late at night.

Jaemin smiled as he saw the older still serving the hot coffee to some customers. He entered the cafe as the bell jingles signaling a new customer. Jeno was the first one to acknowledge the younger's presence as he greeted him with his normal crescent eyes.

"Jaemin-ah, weird to see you here in the late night. What brings you here?" Jeno asked as he started to operate the cashier.

"Oh. Nothing much just wanted a cup of coffee." he said with a smile.

"You know you can always make a cup of coffee back at home." Jeno pointed out the obvious as he saw the blushing male.

"I wanted Mark's company." Jaemin said shyly. "You should say so from the beginning."

Jaemin nodded and smiled as he asked for a cup of Americano. "I'll make that 3 shots."

"Why do you keep lessening the shots Jeno-yah?" Jaemin pouted, giving his card to the older.

"You need to keep a healthy life."

"But I'm fine!"

"Whatever."

Jaemin proceeded to pout as he then sat on an empty seat. He pouted to himself as he watched on one particular couple who were cuddling with each other. PDA? Not at all for Jaemin.

He waited for sometime until he heard his nickname was called out. He skipped towards the pickup counter to see the older looking at him by surprise. "Nana? Why are you here?" He asked with a low voice.

Jaemin couldn't help but pout as he took the cup into his hands. "Sorry Markie, but I couldn't sleep. I needed coffee all of the sudden and I thought of visiting you here." Jaemin blabbered as he clasped his as he pleaded the older for forgiveness.

Mark smiled and ruffled the younger'a brunette locks. "I told you I don't like it when you stay up late."

"I know." Jaemin said softly.

"Go on and sit. I'll join you soon."

Jaemin nodded and quickly rushed to his seat, not forgetting his coffee. "Jaemin-ah," Mark cooed as he sat on the seat across Jaemin. The younger smiled as he laid his upper body on the table, both his hands making grabbing motion. Mark chuckled as he intertwined one of his hands with the younger's.

"Mind telling me what has been keeping you up?" Mark asked, cocking his head to the right.

Jaemin shook his head, "Nothing, I'm just wasn't exhausted." He answered sitting back up.

Mark sighed as he stroked the younger cheeks. Jaemin blushed at the contact.

After closing time, Mark took Jaemin home again, never letting the younger go as Mark jumped into the bed after changing with Jaemin beside him.

Jaemin let out a giggle as he nuzzled himself to the older's chest. "Don't ever leave me Mark, "

Mark chuckled and kissed Jaemin by the forehead.

"I'll never leave you, Nana, "
