London's temperature seemed to have decreased a few degrees as I can feel chills down my spine. Earlier whenever I was here I enjoyed this cool and icy climate but right now it doesn't seem to help me calm my racing heart.

I am currently sitting with, umm...sitting beside would be more appropriate. So I am sitting beside Manik in this small closed space of a car. Manik hasn't spoken a word since we came out besides that small "Thanks" for agreeing to go out with him. He still smells of that rustic after shave which he used back in school.

In spite of this chilly weather I can feel Manik's heat. He is fiddling with his mobile and rubbing his hands on his pants. He does this when he is nervous. A smile captures my face he hasn't changed a bit even. But, why is he nervous? . "Huh...how do you...know? " , Fuck!! Did I say it aloud? ," Umm...you... You look nervous ", I somehow mumble. "Is it so evident? ", he asked raising his eyebrows. I nod simply.

If there was any other person here, he would never have guessed that Manik was nervous. His face didn't even tell a word. It was all his actions. "I kinda guessed, you're rubbing your hands on your pants, which is a way of showing nervousness ", Manik seemed quite amazed at my observation skills. Hihi Mr. Manik Malhotra my favourite pass time used to be observing you. He smiled in amusement and again started to look out of the window.

He's having a smile on his face, he's definitely thinking something, he used to smile while thinking back in school too. " You look so familiar. Have we met before", Damn! Nooo please don't recognise me. " Umm... We... ", I was interrupted by the driver, "Sir, we have reached the destination ", the driver informed us.

We both came out and Manik payed the driver in spite of me honking behind him to share the fare. We are at the St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Its a dedication to Paul the apostle , which dates back to the original church on this site, founded in AD 604. The present cathedral, dates back to the late 17th century.

"Wow! ", says Manik. "It's the first reaction of every person when he sees this beauty for the first time", I fill in some info. "Isn't it your first time here? ", a puzzled Manik asked. "I have been coming here from 5 years", I answer him. "Then why did you say yes for sightseeing? " , OKAY what am I supposed to answer now? Oh god please brain don't go blank. I need your help. Please please, " ..... I thought I'll be bored so it's better to come with you", Thank god! He answered my plea. Manik didn't say anything and started walking.

We started roaming around here and there with me filling in information about it. Manik seemed amused at this. "How come you are so different Nandini?", I look up and found him looking at me with admiration. God! This fuzzy feeling engulfs me whenever i see him straight into his eyes. I feel a hot blush coming up to my cheeks again. Only Manik Malhotra can do this to me.

" It is nothing like that Manik. I am just interested in history that is it", to say even a complete sentence in his proximity is difficult. He laughed and said, " I hated history. It was the most boring subject for me", yeah and you still managed to get perfect grades in it.

"Are you hungry?", Manik asked rather said. Though I had my breakfast just two hours before, I say yes. Why? Simple. I'll get to stare at him while he'll eat. Let me tell you he is one hell of a foodie. He was atleast. Back in school he used to hog on the canteen food and make such cute faces on finding their taste on point.

We make our way to a nearby cafe. Manik ordered pan cakes while I settle for a cup of latte. "So Miss Nandini, tell me about yourself", and there comes the question I was avoiding the whole time. "Um...what do you wanna know?", seriously? What has happened to my thinking abilities. This is what you come up with. I mentally face plamed myself. What a joke I am making of myself in front of him.
