You nod and there it is – out loud, in the open. The feelings which have been creeping up on you for weeks, the ones you tried so desperately to ignore – they are here. God, how long have you liked him? That very first night of course, when you wanted to go home with him. You would have gone home with him too, had Jimin asked you but he had not. He left you alone at that bar, went and found another girl – one drunker than you were – and Jimin took that girl home instead of you.

Even from the start, Jimin was not interested. You are not sure why you thought things might change now.

Minsun has not responded to you and when you glance her way – her expression has changed from shock to something like understanding. "Seokjin called," she says, meeting your gaze. "He saw your purse on their counter and thought maybe you left it behind. I figured it out." Minsun pauses, thoughtful. "Damn, I should have guessed earlier than this," she says, shaking her head. "At the bar, yesterday..."

Touching your hair, you attempt to comb out the tangles. You still have not showered, have not even brushed your teeth yet this morning. "I know," you groan. "Look – I don't know how it happened. Things are out of control now and I need to end it."

"But," Minsun says, shaking her head. "How did it happen? When? Did Jimin just like, ask you to hop on his dick, or –"

"Minsun!" you gasp, almost laughing. "It's not like that!"

But then, you realize it kind of is. You groan, lowering your face into your hands. "We were just hanging out one day, and..."

"And?" Minsun wriggles her eyebrows while you look up. "I just want to know," she insists. "Did Jimin like, pat his thighs and say, 'Haven't you always wondered...?'"

"MINSUN!"

Minsun cackles, entire body shaking with laughter. "Sorry. It's just so surreal," she admits, quieting somewhat. "You know what's funny? I always thought you two would be good together. I thought it was weird you never dated."

"Well." You sigh, picking at your nails. "Tell Jimin that. The first night we met, he blew me off. We were in that club talking, having a good time – I probably would have gone home with him, but no. He left me to get a drink and blew me off. He's not interested in me like that, Minsun."

"The very first night?" Minsun's brows draw together. "Wasn't that when Jin and I first got together?"

Nodding, you play with your jeans. "Yeah. Anyways," you sigh, looking up. "He never tried to date me, he just wanted to be friends and when this whole friends with benefits thing started..." You pause, uncertain. "I don't know why he even agreed to it."

Pushing her chair back to stand, Minsun wanders over to the sink. She pours herself another cup of coffee.

"Was it just a drunken hook-up? Because Jimin can get one of those easily." Minsun frowns, looking at you curiously. "To be honest, Jimin doesn't seem like the type to want a friends with benefits thing. Especially not one with someone he already knows."

You shrug in confusion. "I don't know what to tell you, Minsun. I was at his place, whining about my current lack of romance. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong and that's when Jimin... well, he offered to help," you say, remembering.

Minsun's eyebrows shoot way up. "Oh my god," she says, cracking up. "I can't even imagine – nope, I'm not going to imagine it. But," she says, eyes dancing. "How was it?"

"Oh," you groan, sliding your head into your hands. "It was so fucking good."

Minsun sits back down at the table. "But then..." she trails off. "Okay. You like Jimin. You like Jimin, so you have to end it. Is that true?"
