"Well according to the results from the tests we've been doing. She can hear you and hearing you guys tell stories about her...is really improving her condition at the moment" the nurse explained and they all looked at each other.
"She can really hear us?" Noah said and weakly smiled and the nurse nodded
"Keep going" She left once again and they all sat in silence for a few seconds
"I guess I can go first" josh stood up and sat next to Scarlett holding her hand
"Well none of you really know how we met properly"
*flashback
The table was full with lords and rich business men and women and a 8 year old Scarlett sat down on the table also since her mom was here. Food was brought out by servants and there wasn't a single gap on the table that didn't have food on it. But that was the last thing on Scarlett's mind. She had sawn a child with bruises on his face on the curb and felt incredibly awful for it.
"May I be excused. I need some air" her mother nodded and she quickly grabbed some food when everyone wasn't looking into her bag. She walked outside and sat next to the kid
"What's your name?" She asked with a sparkle in her eyes
"Joshua"
"I'm going to call you josh" she smiled and gave him her bag. He looked questionably and then opened it. His eyes lit up and he was quick to hug the girl
*end of flashback
"She was visited me for weeks after that but eventually she brought me into her home. I made friends with Noah and we became a trio. She is the real reason I am here today my my pathetic excuse of parents. Sh-She also knew I liked her" Chris looked up along with the others
"She didn't embarrass me for it. She want awkward about it"

*flashback
When josh stepped out of the car his eyes looked determined as if he was trying to find someone. His bags under his eyes noticeable. His hair messy.
"Josh what's wrong?" Noah said as he noticed the boys blood shot eyes
"Where is he huh? Chris, the guy she was with? I need to talk to him make sure he's good enough for her and make sure he won't break her heart" he said trying to push past Noah
"Josh go home. I'll take care of it"
"But-" he looked sternly at josh and he walked away.

"I'm sorry man but you are a way better of a man than me and I'm happy to know she's safe with you" he said and then sat down.
"Noora you go next" Scarlett's mother said. She was sitting admiring the friendships her daughter had built. It was amazing hearing stories about how strong she was even with her father being the bad influence he was.
"I have to admit I thought she had bad intentions at first. She hanged out with boys a lot I thought she was gonna sleep around a lot but she was not what I expected at all.
She nearly died for me once" they all once again looked up and exchanged curious and sad glances
"There was a guy who wouldn't leave me alone. We were near a cliff I thought he just wanted to go camping. Wow was I wrong, I ran out of the tent and called Scarlett seeing as she was a few minutes away. She ran all the way to where I was and by the time she came he was about to punch me which would've made me fall of the cliff to my death but she got in the way and fell backwards.. she would've died for me if josh didn't come with her and catch her in time. We promised not to say anything but once she was safer I sat next to her and asked her a question 'why would you do that for me' she replied back
"Because you're my bestfriend Noora and If you fell off I wouldn't know what to do with myself"
The two guys hugged and cried and josh was watching with admiration.

"She was my bestfreind and I would do anything for her to wake up" she said and vilde put her arm round the crying girl
