My phone vibrated on my bedside table so I grabbed it and it had no caller ID on so that meant I didn't recognise the number. I swiped left to answer the call which was pretty stupid of me but whatever. "Is this Scarlett martinez?" "Yes" "You're father has escaped yesterday, just thought I'd let you know" the police man said into the other line. My heart dropped. Andrew is out of jail?!? Yes I don't Andrew father because he doesn't deserve to be called that. "Uh I...I" "If you have any intel about mr Martinez please call this number. Have a nice day ma'am" he ends the call and I drop the phone. I slowly fell back onto my bed and thoughts raced through my mind. I was shaking and why? Because my dad had got released after 2 years I heard a knock on the door and I knew it was chris William Noah and josh since Noah had sent me a text saying he was here. I slowly brought myself up from my bed. It felt as if each step took hours but once I finally got to the door and opened it a tear slipped and fell down my cheek "Andrew has escaped. He escaped from jail" I said shaking. "Oh my god" Noah gasped and sat down shakily on the sofa. Josh went and sat next to him while William shut the door. Chris came up to me and wrapped his arms around me. "Baby it's going to be okay" "You don't know what he's like chris. I-" I cut myself off by taking a deep breath "Who is Andrew?" William asked "Everyone sit down" Noah sighed "You may of realised that you haven't seen our father before. It's because he's been in jail for abuse for the past 2 years. He abused me and Scarlett as kids but more Scarlett since he was an extremely sexist man and whenever Scarlett did a slight thing wrong she'd get punished and I could get away with it. There was one time when he locked Me and Scarlett in a basement for 12 hours. He let me out after 4 hours but Scarlett barley survived without 12 hours of resources" they were all silent until a the doorbell rang and in came my mom. She rushed in and then put her arms around her two kids and josh "I got the call. Are you guys okay? You haven't sawn him? He hadn't tried-" "I haven't sawn him since he left Mom" Noah said "Thank god you kids are okay" she let out a deep breath that she didn't know she was holding ——————————————— "I'm sorry about you're dad" chris said. He was sitting with his back against the wall and my head was laid carefully in his lap. "Its not you're fault. You shouldn't be apologising" "You need to know that if he ever and I mean ever contacts you or of you hear him call me and I'll be there in seconds. I am not letting you get hurt this time" he said and the hand that was intertwined with mine suddenly stiffened. I kissed his lips and his hands slowly came to relax. "I know what will make you feel better" he said with a cheeky grin on his face and I knew exactly what he was going to say "Photo shoot!" We both said at the same time and laughed
