The Pre-First Night

You wake up in the crap hole that you call an apartment. Due to what happened in your past you always do two things: first is that you always carry a sturdy blade and you live on your own.

(You)"Man I should really stop thinking about what happened that year"

you say as you get out of bed and pop every joint in your body that you could. Once you are done with making your joints sound like popcorn popping, you decide that today would be the day you got a job. Even though that's what you have been saying for the past two weeks. So once you lost your work ethic for the morning you sat down and decided to watch some anime.

After realizing that you just sat down in the same spot for three hours you think

(you)'"man I should really either exercise or look for a job, and one of those options requires a lot less moving"'

you think as you go out to see if you can find a newspaper with any sorts of jobs available that could be fun, you see a few that you might choose

(you)" cook.... Maybe? Bellboy? Definetly not. Accountant? Ha, I couldn't get that job even if I wanted it! Oh what's this?"

you say as you sees a commercial for an anime convention called Freya and Friends Anime Convention that is close to your place in town,

(you)"Oh wow that would be amazing if they were hiring right now"

you then hear the commercial say as soon as you turn your head away,

'Help Wanted! We are in need of a new night guard and the pay is $28 an hour! Don't wait too long!'

you hear this and just about have a heart attack

(you)"holy sh** if I get that job I can move out of this crap apartment, eventually, and have a real job!"

you say as you grab your shoes and run out the door.

When you finally arrives at the convention, you realize how much of a mess you are. You realize that you can't remember the last time you showered, you also doesn't remember if you slept in the baggy Metallica T-shirt and baggy sweatpants that you were wearing in that convention, even though you still smelled better than some of the people walking around. While you were deep in thought thinking about your showering habits, you get your eyes covered by a pair of hands and this immediately triggered your fear and anger as you pulled out the blade you keep on your person while the person who had covered your eyes backed away quickly

(unknown voice)"sir I am only going to tell you once. Put the knife away now or else I will be forced to remove you from the premise"

a feminen voice says coldly as you realize you had pulled a knife on someone in public. You quickly put the knife back in your pocket as you mutter a quick

(you)"sorry but don't do that again"

you say while trying not to sound really angry, and failing miserably. The blue *ahem* well endowed woman starts to warm up again and says to you

(blue woman)"sorry sir. Welcome to Freya and Friends Anime Convention! How may I help you today?"

you respond, still annoyed,

(you)"I am actually looking for the managers office if you don't mind"

the blue lady responds, suddenly growing serious

(blue woman)"I am really sorry that I somewhat upset you sir so if you want to make a complaint than the managers office is down the hall first door on the left"
