A couple of days later, me and Jimin attended our first banquet together.

As we were in the banquet, Jimin held my waist at all times unless we were talking to someone.

We met his friends in the banquet. Jungkook and Taehyung.

"Jimin!" Taehyung called out

"Taehyung!" Jimin bro fist

"hi y/n. You look gorgeous tonight" Taehyung complimented me

I blushed at it and thanked him

While they were chatting, i told Jimin that i was going to the washroom

He nodded and i left

Unfortunately i lost my way and i cant find the washroom.

A man had dropped his things on the floor so i went to help him pick it up.

"what is a young lady wondering around here? Are you lost?" he asked me sweetly

I bowed elegantly like how i was taught my whole life and smiled "i just cant seem to see where the washroom is"

"its over there" he pointed to the direction of the washroom

After i was finished, i bumped into him again.

He had dropped his things so i quickly rushed to pick it up for him.

I bowed and greeted him as he did the same.

"hello again. Are you also part of the banquet?" he asked me

I smiled and answered him 'yes'

"what's your name?" he asked me

He was a middle aged man around my father's age. He had a stern face. He looked scary but it was rude to judge others by their looks.

"my name is Choi- i mean Park y/n" i said to him as i forgot that I'm married

"Park y/n? Daughter of Mr. Park Kimin?"  he asked me

"Daughter-in-law" i corrected him and smiled

"i see. Thank you for helping me earlier" he thanked me

"oh no no! You don't have to. I'm sure many would have done the same" i said to him

Just then, a bodyguard came up to him and he excused himself but before he left, he advised me.

"Not everyone nowadays. Its a greedy world. Not everyone has a heart. Be careful of who you trust.. I have to excuse myself. I hope we see each other again soon" he said before bowing and leaving

He must have had a bad past story.

"ah wait! I haven't asked for your-" i looked and he was no where to be found "-name"

I sighed and mentally facepalmed myself for being rude.

I walked back to Jimin "why were you so late? I thought you got lost" he said to me

"nah~" i wanted to tell him about the guy that i had a chat with but Jimin wouldn't stop asking questions if i did and i really need my sleep tonight.

"I'm gonna get some food" i told Jimin

He nodded so i walked to the food table and grabbed a small plate with just a few pieces of food since it didn't really look to my taste right now.

Just as i was picking food up, a CEO came up to me and greeted me

"hello. What's your name? You seem to stand out in the crowd for many people" i faced him and bowed and smiled

"Hello. My name is y/n. You must be CEO Kim. Its nice to meet you" i said

"are you having fun?" he asked me

"I'm content with the banquet thank you. Its really nice" i complimented.

"that's nice. Would you like to be my dance partner for the first song?" he asked me

Right. There's dancing. I haven't danced in a banquet since i was 11

"uhm I-" i was interrupted when i felt a presence who had his arm wrapped tightly around my waist.

"babe. You were taking too long"  my heart beat increased and multiplied a thousand times.

Jimin gave me a peck and went to the crook of my neck, taking my scent with him as he inhaled.

"Jimin what wrong with you" i whispered to him

"You're so dumb. Gatherings like this has so many predator's and people trying to find a partner" he softly said "there are so many people who's watching you"

I observed my surroundings and noticed that many of the single CEO's and son's of CEO's was staring at me.

Jimin finally pull of and faced CEO. Kim who was still there

I feel my face blush really hard

"ah~ Hello CEO. Kim . I see you've already met my wife" he said

I looked at him while one of Jimin's arms were still wrapped around me.

"Oh. I was just asking her if she would like to dance. She seems to be such a beauty. I couldn't stop staring at her" he said smirking at Jimin

CEO. Kim moved his view to me and he stared at me intently

Jimin stared back at him as i can feel a radiation of anger radiating from Jimin as he pulled me closer to him

I was pressed against Jimin's left body and i knew i had to do something. I see how this is.

I looked up to look at Jimin's face and analyze his emotions. Is he really jealous? Or is he just playing?

I cant seem to know why he is acting like this.

"No its okay. I'm fine here. There must be others who would love to dance with you" i told him as i smiled brightly to avoid the intenseness

"Too bad. I only want to dance with you" he said and i blushed and blinked a few times thinking that its just a dream.

I remembered Jimin's dad telling me to keep Jimin under control and to not let him get into trouble.

I felt Jimin's arms loosen and he was about to walk to him but i quickly pulled him and kissed his plumped juicy lips

I was shocked by my own actions and I'm sure Jimin was too. He didn't kiss me back at first but after a while, he kissed me. I feel his smirk and him relax with his arms snaking round my waist.

I was about to pull off but Jimin had tighten his grip and didn't let me rest.

After a while, we separated and Jimin looked at me and smirked.

People started clapping and the spotlight somehow came to shine above us.

I looked at his eyes.
