"I'll take it," I said, cutting the realtor off mid-sentence.

Linda sighed with relief, "Oh thank God, I was beginning to think you weren't going to like anything!"

I shrugged and smiled, "What can I say? I know what I like!"

"So how'd it go?!" Kelly asked when I got back to her place.

"Get ready girl, you're about to have your place all to yourself again!"

She smiled, "Yesssss, Bey, I'm so happy for you! I mean, I'm devastated that you're leaving, but I'm happy for you."

I playfully rolled my eyes, "Yeah, yeah you're gonna miss me.....anyway, Kelly this place is amazing," I said, pulling out my phone and showing her the pictures.

Her jaw dropped, "Damn, did you already put an offer in cause I might beat you to it!"

I smirked, "Don't even, already put the offer in and it was accepted. The current residents already got their new place so they wanted to speed the process along. I close on it next week!"

1 week later
I smiled as I walked into my new house with the few bags full of my things that I brought over from Kelly's.

I can't believe how fast all of this moved, but I am glad to have my own place again so I won't need to live out of suitcases anymore.

A wave of sadness came over me because I knew what I had to do next. I need to get the rest of my stuff out of my- sorry, Jay's, house. Even though I've known for a while now that I needed to do that, it was just going to make it all so real. Like Jay and I are truly over, for good. I never thought that day would come.

I shook my head to try to pull myself out of my feelings and picked up my phone and called his cell.

He answered after the first ring, "Beyoncé?!?" he asked, sounding so excited.

"Don't get all excited, I'm just calling to tell you that....I got my own place, I finally moved out of Kelly's guest room so I really need to go back to the townhouse and get the rest of my things."

The whole tone of his voice changed, "You got your own place?" he asked sadly.

"Well, what did you think I was gonna do? Live out of a duffle bag in Kelly's guest room forever?"

"No, I just-" he stopped.

"You just what?" I asked.

"I just thought that if I gave you some space, one day you'd come home," he said lowly.

I sighed. "Jay, I can't do this with you again. I told you that we're over. I'm trying to move on, you need to too."

He didn't say anything so I took that as agreement.

"And Jay....I need you to do one thing for me. If you care about me at all you will not be there when I come to pack up my stuff. It will just make it way too hard for me, so please just do this one thing for me, I think you owe me that much."

"You're right, I do. I'll be in meetings all day on Tuesday, does that work for you?"

"That's fine, thank you. Goodbye, Jay."

"Have a good night, Bey."
