Collins Apartment

*Beep*

Collins who was busy in the kitchen hurriedly dashed off to the door.

Having stared at Detective Diana for some minutes, found his voice.

"Erm... Are you kinda lost?" He asked.

Diana flunged her hair before speaking.
"You're Collins right?" She asked.
He nodded...

"I am Diana. Detective Diana." She landed.

He paved a way for her in. She took a few steps in and glanced her eyes around the room.

Without asking, she settled her butts on the sofa.

Collins walked towards her.

"Can I get you a drink?" He asked.

"Sure." She said giving him a weird smile.

He made his way to the kitchen. Diana carefully fetched out her recorder and turned it on, fixing it back into her bag.

Minutes later, Collins arrived with a bottle of alcohol and two glasses.

Without waiting, she bombarded him with the first question.

"Was Tasha that bad that you had to divorce her?" She began.

He swallowed hard before speaking.

"No... She just needed her space." He said looking below his feet.

"Was she cheating on you? Or were you cheating on her?" She asked.

"I don't understand." He replied.

"It's not hard to understand Mr Collins. Was a lady or a man the cause of your separation?" She asked again.

"Well... Erm... I..." He was about to complete when his door bell beeped.

Suddenly, the door pushed open.

Diana tilted her head backwards to observe the person that entered without waiting for a response.

"Well... You must be Sandra Wilson. Tasha's younger sister right?" Diana asked sternly as she walked towards the both of them with her bag.

"Erm... Yes... And... You're?" She asked fearfully...

"You didn't take a sip out of your drink." Collins stated cutting off Sandra's question.

Diana gave the both of them a wryly smile and fixed her bag, stylishly turning off the recorder. She walked towards the door and turned to look at them again.

"Thanks for the brief discussion. Expect me soonest." She completed and walked out of the room.

At The Station

Diana was seated completely clouded by her thoughts. She had three names on her list. But she still seemed confused as the case was proving too difficult to comprehend.

"Hey Beauty!" The voice came through, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Hi Greg!" She greeted coldly.

"I guess this case is eating you up." Greg assumed.

"Definitely." She replied.

"Any progress?" He asked further.

"None for now." She said.

Her office line began to beep.

"Detective Diana speaking."

There was a pause for a while.
"Send her in." She said hanging up.

"A witness?" Greg asked.

"Am about to find out. I need your help Greg." She pleaded.

"Anything for you babe." Greg responded with a smile.

"Lead her into the interrogation room. She should be waiting outside." Diana landed.

Greg carefully stood up and took his leave.
