Kookie holds up two plastic bags
Bulging--CHEERS--full of more food.
Before he can pull out his bingsu surprise
I grunt into the floor--
head full of ghosts and tummy full of good,
I close my heavy eyes.
"Family, food, friends and rest,
Lil Tan has had his fill."
I feel a pull into Kook's chest.
"That's what holidays are for."
