earth as a lonely planet,
would be wrapped up in pleasantries,
with a happy little laugh,
and a kiss from cheek to cheek,
but disguised behind scorn and deceit.it would be friendship coated in sugar,
and soaked in sunshine,
am artificial light at the end if the tunnel,
a hope and aching,
for love and care.but then the sugar would dissolve,
the sunshine dimming,
leaving you lonely and devastated,
a washing of despair,
shattered and exhausted.earth would be the loneliest planet,
because even surrounded by people,
the appearances and fake smiles,
would weigh on your mind,
and place a burden on your lungs.
