Comfort Zone

People told me to move out to my comfort zone
Not knowing that I'd get drown on my own.

They told me to let go of control
Not knowing no one would catch me when I fall.

Society dictates me to be real
Yet discriminates you for telling what you feel.

They convince you to tell the truth
Yet everyone has their own version, such a crude.

Others say don't hide your scars
But you hear them laugh at your bulgars.

They say don't be afraid to have a bruise
But complain not going in a cruise

People say they would accept your darkness
But can't wait to stay in that awkwardness

Everyone says we have our own beauty
But can't accept the diversity

How ironic our life could be?
The society changes me
And hides the real me.
