Jaune Arc, King of the Monsters (RWBY x Godzilla Crossover)

From Arc to Monster King

Starting off this story, I'd thought of doing a chapter where we start off with a little flashback to kick things off, before we delve into the present time. The present time will be set during the events of King Of The Monsters, so for those who haven't watched, beware for spoilers are ahead.

=Flashback: Beacon Academy=

Jaune, sitting by himself up the back in Dust class, couldn't help but recap all that's happened in just 2 months.

First, he confessed that he faked his way into Beacon to his partner Pyrrha, at least expecting a "why'd you do it?" in response, but nope! Immediate hate was achieved and he spent the night on the roof. Second, Cardin happened to be hearing that particular conversation and used it to blackmail him into doing the usual things, like assignments and overall school work. Eventually, Jaune did manage to stand up to Cardin and even saved him from an Ursa during the trip to Forever Falls.

Now, one might assume that everything would be fine from there on, Cardin owing his life to Jaune of course.

Unfortunately, they would be wrong.

A week after the trip, Cardin blabbed to the whole student body about his transcripts, but what really hurt him (and secretly angered him even more) was that Pyrrha VERIFIED this, confirming Cardin's little message giving.

The results, are as about what one might expect in this situation.

From there on, the student body and some staff (mainly Goodbit-, I mean Goodwitch) began to despise the blonde, and they made this known either verbal harassment or physical abuse (he can still feel the bruised rib Yang gave him, and that was 3 weeks ago). Lucky for him, he had some saving graces.

This included Professor Ozpin (who was aware of his credentials the whole time) and, shockingly enough as it is, the Faunus population of Beacon (minus Blake) with Velvet as the unofficial ambassador and Ruby Rose (despite Yang's attempts to get her away from him). When asked why, they each gave their honest and heart warming opinions.

Ozpin: "Truth be told Mr Arc, you're not the first to use false transcripts to enter Beacon. There was one student I taught here, and he became one of my most trusted colleagues today. I let you in here seeing if you could prove yourself worthy of admission here, and you did. During initiation, you guided three others you never knew beforehand with precise accuracy into defeating an Alpha Deathstalker, only after seeing their skills for but a few minutes at most. I've made more mistakes than one could dream of, but letting you learn and train in this institution has not been nor will be one of them."

Faunus (Velvet): "You're one of the very few humans I've met  that has actually treated Faunus fairly, like actual people. I can understand why you didn't help in the cafeteria, as you were being bullied yourself. I forgive you for faking your way in, and many other Faunus do as well."

But the one that forever brought tears of joy to his eyes, was Ruby's explanation.

Ruby: "You think some papers will change my opinion of you? Since the start here, you've been my first and bestest friend. No matter how many times I said Weiss was my best friend, know that while I said she was the best, you have always been and always will be the bestest one I've ever had, no matter what Yang or anyone says." she said, right before glomping him with all the childish love and care she could manage, not seeing him crying tears of joy.
