The Quiet One - Harumi fanfiction [Ninjago]

Chapter 1 - Blessed family

Hopeless. That's how the couple's situation was when they thought they could never have their own child. They're both poor people who live in a little village, far away from Ninjago City. They always wanted to have a kid that they can take care of. But even if they had a child, they can't raise one in their circumstances. They always wanted to move to Ninjago City, but right now they don't have enough money to make a big change like this in their lives and they would leave behind their house, their job, and the friends they made in the village. But one day their lives have completely changed.

"Harry, Harry... I have big news"

"And what is it, honey?"

Emily didn't know how to tell her husband the good news. "I-I'm pregnant!" she finally said while crying. 

And soon Harry started crying too "Are you serious? You're actually pregnant? No way... Is this a dream?"

"No Harry, this is reality. We're gonna have our very own child."

"I'm so happy Emily. It's been so long and now we're finally going to be parents. But how are we going to raise the baby? We don't have much money. We have to buy a lot of stuff and-"

Emily interrupted "It's okay. We're going to find a way. We have plenty of time, nine months are going to be enough to buy everything the baby needs to have."

Harry sighed "I hope so. This is going to change our lives forever. What should we name the baby?"

"Whoa... Wait, slow down. We don't even know the gender. Let's just wait till we know it. I really hope it's a girl though. I want a daughter."

"Why a girl?" Harry asked. "It will cost us way much more if the baby turns out to be a girl."

"Why are you always worried about the money? I said we will figure it out. And I want a girl so I can make her hair nicely and raise her as our little princess"

"It doesn't matter what gender is the baby. What matters is that she's going to have a loving family."

"Yeah, you're right... I'm so excited Harry!"

"Me too honey, me too!"

~Time skip~

"I can't believe we have a child now, especially a girl. I've always wanted a daughter." said while holding the baby girl in her arms, crying in happiness on the hospital bed. "Just look at her, she's so adorable and she has a beautiful smile too." 

Then her husband came up to her to finally see their newborn baby. "Yes, she's an angel and she definitely has my charm." his wife smilingly rolled her eyes at his statement. "Uh, and of course, she also has her mother's beauty." Both of them were holding the baby girl in their arms and just admiring the new family member.

"So what should we name her again? There are a lot of beautiful girl names but we have to choose one." said Emily

"Hmm... What about Harumi? I think it's a nice name for her."

"Harumi... it sounds pretty. But what does it mean?"

"I believe it means sunny, spring, and beauty."

"Well, then Harumi it is. Welcome to the world Harumi Sakurai!"

Hello everyone! This is my first fanfiction so my writing is kinda poor I know but I might edit this chapter later because I feel like it's too short. And about the names, I used in this chapter thank you guys from Instagram for helping me out with choosing. I planned this fanfiction to be very long, so it's from Harumi's childhood to her current position. I try writing according to the show but I put some of my own ideas too.
