Anastasia's POV

"Anastasia! School time!"

I groaned under the comfort of my covers and reluctantly pulled them from over my head and shouted a reply to my mum,

"I'm not feeling well!!"

"Don't play that game with me young lady, get down here!"

I groaned again and placed my feet over the bed onto the floor. I stretched my body out before standing up and walking out of my room ever so slowly towards the kitchen.

I slowly entered the room and my mum and brother turned their heads to face me and much to my annoyance, my brother Weston was the first to speak up,

"Wow sis, you look like shit"

"Language Weston"

"Sorry mum but seriously Anna, you look terrible"

"Good morning to you too Weston, coffee? Yes I'd love some thank you" I said sarcastically and he chuckled and stood up to make me some coffee,

"Sorry, I'm guessing you didn't get enough sleep?"

I shook my head, "Oh no, I got enough sleep, it's just the person that was in it kept waking me up"

"Oh your boyfriend?"

I rubbed my temples with my fingers, "For the last and final time Weston, he is not my boyfriend, let it go alright?"

He shrugged and finished stirring my coffee before he threw the spoon into the sink and handed it to me.

I happily took it from him with a thanks and took a sip, basking in the warm sensation that it gave me when it went down my throat,

"Where's daddy?"

"Sleeping, he's been working on a big case so he's more tired than usual"

I nodded and took another sip of my coffee before the doorbell rang and I looked at my mum and brother confused,

"Expecting anyone?"

They both shook their heads and my mum stood up to go and answer the door while I silently continued to drink the heaven that was my cup of coffee,

"Oh Alejandro, what a surprise"

My mothers words made me spit out the coffee that was in my mouth and my eyes went wide,

"Thanks a lot sis, now I have coffee on my shirt"

"Shut up" I hissed at him and went back to listening to what Alejandro had to say,

"Sorry to turn up unannounced Mrs Richardson but I was wondering if I'd be allowed to take Anna to school today"

Please say no, please say no, I thought to myself,

"Yes of course you can, she's not ready yet but you can come in if you like"

It's clear that my mother doesn't care about me. I quickly started running my hands through my hair to at least get it looking presentable because at the moment it just looked like a birds nest,

"Getting dolled up for your man?"

I flipped my brother off which made him laugh and that's when Alejandro walked in and my breath got caught in my throat as I stared into his eyes and looked him over.
