I came home late one day after babysitting and was greeted by him at the door. Even though everybody was already asleep and he was put in his crate for the night. I quickly learned he was a smart little Houdini. Now he sleeps with me in my bedroom.

He loves all of our pets, but the only one that truly puts up with him is our older dog (the other one in the first two pics)

One day in March, he jumped up while trying to get a toy and landed wrong. This resulted in him breaking his knee, which led to just over 2 months of surgeries, healing, no time in the pool, and he wasn't allowed to see his brother. We had to keep him in a pen and assist him with a sling to help him get outside to go to the bathroom. That wasn't easy with an energetic 5 month old puppy.

I learned that classical music helped to keep him calm, so I kept my old phone playing next to him almost all the time

He didn't let a broken leg or a cone of shame from stop him from being his goofy self though.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, the doctors gave us the all clear to let him go back to a normal life. We brought him home from the vet, took off the cone, and took his leash off. He kind of stared at us confused because he was always brought right back to his play pen. As soon as he realized he was free, he started sprinting throughout the house. I have never seen him so happy before.

Also finally seeing his brother again was crazy. I didn't get any footage of that though. They were wrestling for a while and ended up falling asleep on each other.

That was about the time I started working at a doggy daycare. After 90 days, I was able to bring both of the boys with me as long as I had enough hours each week to meet the requirement. We have some fun times in the park together and they're absolutely exhausted by the time I got them in my truck to go home.

I'm kind of upset because apparently I can't post videos that aren't from YouTube here

I'm kind of upset because apparently I can't post videos that aren't from YouTube here. I have the goofiest footage of the boys in the park, I could only take pictures when they were calm. Videos got the good stuff.

I am fucking obsessed with animals in case if you couldn't tell. I'mma be honest and say I think I chose the wrong career path. I really wanted to go into architecture because I loved it, took classes that we're leaning towards it, and had an internship that helped me learn a ton about it. But my family insisted that I chose a different one. I thought I was happy with computer science, but it's starting to look rough for me.

Careers that have been intriguing me lately is becoming a vet (even though vet school is so hard to get into and I'm getting a degree that is completely useless to that) and architecture. I am so done with school though, I can't contemplate switching majors and starting fresh.

ANYWAYS... Thanks for at least looking at this 😂. Do y'all have any dogs or cats or any other pets)? I'd love to see pics of them
