After we drove for half an hour through the light morning traffic, we took an uphill route. I had never been to this part of the town. Halfway through it, he asked me to get down and we walked to the top. He said that it was better to walk than to drive.

Panting and sweating I reached the top, but surprisingly, he did not break a sweat. Like he was doing this for so long that it had become a habit.

“Welcome to my little escapade place” he stretched out his hands.

Even though the trip was hard, it was totally worth it. The sun had just risen from the horizon, but this part of the town was untouched by its rage. A soft and melodious wind blew from the left. The whole scenery was painted in the best shade of orange.

“It’s breathtaking,” I said absentmindedly.

“I know…” he answered, even though it wasn’t a question.

After about a minute of taking in the beauty of nature, I asked the real question, “Why have you brought me here?”

“To know more about each other,” he said without looking at me.

“So like a….date? I frowned.

“Haha…” he laughed loudly holding my shoulders, shaking me up. If ROFL was really possible atop a hill, he could have done it. “Nah….Just a talk,” he finally managed.

Then he sat down on the ground facing front. He gestured me to sit next to him.

This is going to be so long, I have fear for what I would do in th end.
Thanks, for reading through,
Love <3,
Heather
