I put my arm around my shoulder and tried to carry her. But she was too weak at her knees. I needed additional help. And there was only one person, at the moment, who could. I had my back against him so; I had to glance back at him.

“Please, I am begging you,” I said.

“Fine. You owe me big time, girl”. Saying that, he threw Sally over his shoulders and started walking, as if, he was gliding through air. “Show off”, I had the thought. But I had no choice but to follow.

When we found the medic, she made Sally lie on the sick bed and examined her. I was relieved to know that it wasn’t anything serious. Just low iron intake, other than that she was fit as a stallion.

She was allowed to go home after she took the pills that were given to her. But when she remembered the accident she was furious. But I could read through her, so I knew she wasn’t as angry as she should have been. I promised her to get the dent repaired that her car had got. And after a bit of convincing, she agreed to let me drop her home.

The next day, when I saw Blaydon in the hallway, I thought that maybe I as well ought to thank him.
