So I went up to him and said that I was thankful for his help.

“But, you know what; I didn’t do it entirely out of selflessness. I need something in return. Consider it as payback time.”

“Fine.  Ask whatever.” I said after giving it a thought.

“I need you to be my girlfriend for—”

“Are you nuts? Do you think this is a stupid chick-flick? Listen, I am not that kind of person you would even wish for. Heck, you are not even close to what I would wish for. I can’t even stand you. Do you just go around asking girls to be your girlfriend, cause its lame.” I blurted out in a single breath. Before I could continue with the second breath in me, he hushed me down.

“What are you? A character from Comedy Central? But you are right. But only partially though. You are not the kind of person I am looking for. If I was not enough desperate, I mean determined, to get to the right one than I would not have bothered.” He answered back so calmly, that it scared me a bit.

“You are….umm…desperate? Most people wouldn’t admit it though.”

He waved a hand at me before he continued, “Look, I don’t care what you think. Besides, I am not giving you a choice. I am forcing you to do it. Meet me after classes in the field. 3 p.m. sharp. I hate people who are late.”

With that he turned to leave, but I made a wild dash in front of him.

“Look, there are some complications. I can’t do this. I am kind of reserved in love. I mean, I love someone else. And it would be just wrong, even if it is an act.” “Even if he does not love me”, I added quietly.

“Then it is all the way better.” And with that he left.

“But I don’t see how.” I called back after him.

And its done and I kept up my promise. Thank you all. And if the next update takes a few days, forgive me. I have a terminal to study for. But I will be back with the new chapter as soon as possible.

With love that you can't hold in your hands,
