Mark had been pacing back and forth, practicing what he was going to say just as he heard the door knob turning. Muffled voices stemmed from the other side, and he immediately recognized them. His heart leapt out of his chest; he was just mere seconds from confronting the two people who wanted nothing to do with him at the time-- instead of optimistic thoughts, he could only envision all the way things could go wrong.

But there was no turning back now or hiding, he's come this far to try and explain his side of everything, it would be pointless to back out now. He was terrified of what the two might say to him, but he figured he deserved whatever might be coming anyway.

"I'm sure you didn't mean it though-." Mark heard the start of Jinyoung's sentence that was abruptly cut off as soon as the younger turned his head and noticed him standing in the middle of the room. Jackson was right behind him, a tiny gasp escaping him as soon as he spotted Mark. "What the fuck?"

"Um, J-Jaebum let me in, y-you can ask him yourself..." the elder stuttered, hoping that the two didn't think he was crazy enough to break into their dorm. Though they probably didn't put it past him, considering everything else he'd done.

Jinyoung let out a frustrated sigh as he walked in and threw his bag to the floor. He pointed toward the door that Jackson now stood beside. "Well, get out."

Mark couldn't even get in a word before he was getting thrown out; that must've been a new record. Jinyoung was serious though, as he was watching Mark expectantly and waiting for him to obey his order.

"Wait." Jackson interjected before Mark moved anywhere. He closed the door, moving to stand in front of it with arms crossed. "What is it that you want, Mark?"

Mark took in a breath, his fingers fiddling with the hem of his shirt. "I want my roommate back."

"No."

He flinched at the firm response. It pained him to hear Jackson deny him with no hesitation. "Y-You literally can't stay here, you're assigned to our room, you have to return at some point."

"Why would I go back with you? I could just stay with Jinyoung every night until the semester's over, then I wont have to worry about all this bullshit anymore."

"Y-You don't have to do that..."

"Tell me Mark, why wouldn't I? Why shouldn't I?" Jackson stepped toward the elder, making Mark take a few steps back, except Jinyoung had at some point moved behind him, so he was trapped between the two. "My roommate insults me, berates me, tries to ruin my friendships. All valid reasons not to want to stay in the same dorm anymore."

Mark swallowed hard, doing his best to find an answer, but none of them were really good ones. "B-Because, I don't want us to end on such a bad note."

"We wouldn't be if you didn't meddle with our friendship." Jackson retorted.

Mark ran his nervous hands through his hair; he was trying to keep himself together and thinking straight, but having two people pinned against him was quite overwhelming. He had already made himself look stupid in front of the two; and was sure that his lack of reasoning for his actions wasn't helping at all. "But... guys, can I explain myself?"

Jinyoung clicked his tongue. "There's nothing to explain, we all know what you did."

"Look, I know it was wrong, I knew it was wrong when I was doing it but... I acted rashly and I'm so sorry for it, I really am. Seeing you both sad tore me apart and I'm sorry I caused that."

Mark glanced over at Jackson who's expression softened, his eyes showing more hurt than anger. Jinyoung on the other hand, harbored all that anger for him, and didn't mind lashing it all out at Mark.
