Mark threw his towel over his head, drying his hair before leaving the room. He made sure to dress himself in the bathroom rather than come out naked since he surely knew Jackson would comment on his body in some way or another. He finished up and stepped out of the bathroom, scanning the room to find Jackson talking to someone by the door.

"No problem, ask me for anything at all." Mark heard Jackson say as he came out. Jackson glanced behind him at Mark before turning with a big grin back to the door, gesturing for the person outside of it to come in. "Oh! There goes my roommate."

In came the guy Mark recognized Jackson had been talking to earlier, Jinyoung, a shy smile gracing his lips as he entered their private dorm room. Mark was caught off gaurd, he hadn't expected any visitors, and especially not him of all people. He felt some type of way about it. A bad way.

"H-Hi..." he stuttered in an effort to be friendly and not look too shocked.

"Hi." Jinyoung replied with a wave.

Jackson stood between them, pushing them closer to one another. "Jinyoung, Mark. Mark, Jinyoung. The new kid I was telling you about? I told him what room I lived in and that he could ask me for help anytime, he came over to ask me to show him to the science building."

Mark smiled at Jinyoung, only because he was smiling to begin with. But it was forced, and Mark's lips trembled with the amount of muscle he used to keep that smile on his face. Something about Jackson's excitement with this new kid just didn't sit right with him. "Oh, well, nice to meet you Jinyoung."

It was not nice meeting him. But Mark was polite.

Jinyoung outstretched a hand, giving a small nod. "Nice to meet you too, Jackson mentioned you when we talked briefly earlier."

Mark reluctantly took his hand and was stunned at how warm and soft it was. Who even owned such nice hands? That shouldn't be humanely possible. It only made him dislike Jinyoung more. "Well, he mentioned you too when we talked before I got in the shower."

"Okay I talk a lot, we all understand that now." Jackson stated, pulling Jinyoung away from Mark and ushering him through the door. "Jinyoung come, let me show you the way."

Jinyoung glanced back, waving at Mark again. "Nice meeting you Mark."

"You too..." Mark mumbled before the door shut behind them.

Something about Jinyoung rubbed him the wrong way. How could a new kid come out of nowhere and already have someone occupying their time? Granted, Jackson was a friendly guy and what not, but he usually focuses all of his attention on Mark more than anyone else. What was it about Jinyoung that Jackson found so intriguing?
