Until you were with me
I thought it was a myth
A legend that grew on me
It was a story
Like the ones youd tell in the dark
The ones youd tell so that you felt
Safer than you are
You move so gracefully
Like a cadence in a song
You're words like a melody
That make me want to sing along
The angel light you shine
I've never seen so bright
The darkness disappears
Getting rid of it despite
You inspire me to move forward
Knowing that the stories were right
That peace isn't just a story
But something we hold inside
