There's a tear in me
One I can't bare
The pain comes from knowing
That you are not there
It's my fault and it shows
But I hope that you know
that the poems I wrote
Won't stop Til you know
That I love you today
I'll show you tomorrow
Every day after that even in sorrow
You probably don't care
But I'm hopeful you're there
Life was never fair but
