I can't tell you how many times I've been hit
With silence, anger, sadness and unfaithfulness
I've tried and failed
Tried and failed
It hits me so hard It's like hail
I've hurt you and I hurt myself
After trying so hard
It's like nothing else
I've fought battles
For nothing but sadness
I'm like a battered knight
In gladitorial madness
I've tried to not care
Act like nothings there
But all I have left is this love that I bare
It's in this hollow armor
There's no man left in here
I don't know what to do
Air stale and life unfair
All that I have left is knowing i love you
I'm done fighting
I'll sit now I guess
This armor I wear
It's cracked and It's bent
All of my energy past well spent
Yet still I'll wait for you
Until the very end
