"I can't sleep without you..." She said softly. He could feel her breathing on his neck whenever she approached him. She had come up behind him in the kitchen, wrapping her arms around his waist and laying her head on his right shoulder. Eli held onto her arms and smiled to himself. Star let go so he could turn around to face her. "What was that?" He asked, smiling. He took her hands and held them for a bit, and Star blushed- not quite knowing what to say. "I said, 'I can't sleep without you...' It's hard sleeping without you next to me, you know..." She said. Star looked down out the floor shyly. She felt a little weird for saying those things out loud now. He didn't say anything, he just picked her up bridal style and started walking towards her room. She made a small noise- almost like a shriek of panic- when he did so, but now she was leaning against his chest as he carried her. He set her down in the bed and crawled towards the other side of her, against the wall. After they were under the covers, they faced each other. Eli pulled the covers until they reached Star's nose and chuckled a bit. She moved it down. "I'm not that cold." Star said, laughing a bit as well. "So you are cold?" He asked. She nodded. Or- at least it looked like a nod. Eli couldn't quite tell because she barely moved. He scooted closer and put his arms around Star, his right arm in between her waist and the bed, his left arm holding her waist in an attempt to bring her closer. Star folded her arms against her and buried her smile into his chest. He couldn't tell she was smiling, though. After laying like that a few minutes, Eli figured she was asleep, that was until Star had re-situated herself. He frowned. Star noticed this, and sat up from Eli's hold. Eli relaxed onto his back and then smiled at her. "Why does it take you so long to fall asleep?" He asked. She wiped her eyes. "I dunno. I'm just never comfortable." She replied. "Come here." He said, reaching his arms out. His voice was so calming to Star. She put her knee's on beside him, and sat somewhat on his stomach- making sure not to hurt him. "You're so beautiful..." he said, reaching his hand up and running it through Star's hair. She smiled and laid down on his chest, stretching her legs out a bit more. Before laying down on his chest fully, she kissed Eli on the nose. That made him smile. She put her arms under his, as if she were hugging him. Eli's arms were busy holding her. One on her waist, the other on the back of her head, almost as if he was holding her closer to his heart. Star turned her face towards the wall and closed her eyes. "Sweet dreams." He said, raising up to kiss her head softly. Star smiled, and dozed off to sleep.
