"Where are you going!", Lucy shouted. I'm guessing she's starting to get up by the sound of a chair being pushed back.
"School."
"But you didn't even eat the food Yvo cooked for you!"
I stopped mid-way. What the fuck Lucy?!
I harshly faced her and saw that she was about to collide with me when I grabbed her arm and steady her. Levy and Lisanna were looking at me with curiosity in their eyes. I dragged Lucy out of the house and slammed the door shut.
Roughly letting her go, I gave her an annoyed look. "You think it's funny to reveal someone's very private detail that's supposed to be a secret and will make every fucking person inside that room, be informed, and make someone in danger?"
She nervously laughed. "Lol, it's not like they'd know about your thing with—"
"Bullshit! You already gave them the idea about what my real relationship is to Yvo," I lowered my voice, scared of anyone hearing us.
Lucy just stared at me for a second, realising that I'm dead serious about everything even though this was a small revelation. She stepped back as she gulped. The playful look on her face faded as she looked down, and stared back again in my eyes but this time, her eyes are filled with pain.
"I-I was just trying to—"
"What?! Trying to what, exactly?", my voice was filled with anger. Maybe it's the reason why she flinched and stepped back again. "Do you realise what you just did? You revealed something that's shouldn't be known by my bodyguards! If my mom finds out about this and she transports Yvo to a different place, I swear I will never forgive you."
"I'm sorry . . ." she said in a low voice.
"Your sorry doesn't make up the fact that a word will be given out about it."
I turned my back on her and stomped down the stairs of the front porch and decided to leave all of them, but I quickly stopped when I realised something. I turned to face Lucy and saw that she was looking back at me guiltily, with almost tears in her eyes.
Umawang ang bibig niya pero hindi siya nagsalita.
"This is the reason why I want to be separated from you guys," I glared at her. "It's because of you."
When I turned my back on her, I felt my feet almost gave up. A pain shot through my heart and the tears swelled in my eyes.
I breathed heavily and fight off the excruciating guilt and the will to go back to her and tell her I did not mean it, as I forced myself to walk away without even apologising to Lucy. That it wasn't my intention to hurt her and I accidentally said that out of anger and fear of Yvo being taken away from me.
But I just let those words slip away, we need to cool down for some good hours so that no hard feelings would emit when I decide to talk to her.
A limo with a small angry lion statue placed on top of the hood stopped in front of me. I stared lingered on the family crest painted on each side of the car, making me wonder and doubt about my decisions. I am having second thoughts, but I shouldn't.
I mustn't.
Tama. Ginagawa ko ito para sa kanila, maiintindihan nila ako balang araw. Huminga ako ng malalim. I hopped in and immediately, we left the place with an imbalanced air of both sides feeling the sickening pain in our hearts.
I saw at the corner of my eye the three girls who were left inside of the house went out, and is now gently hugging Lucy. I'm sure she's crying, and it's obviously because of me.
