I was woken up by the sound of an intercom-like noise.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Manila International Airport. The temperature outside is 30 Degrees Centigrade. For your own safety, kindly keep your seatbelts fastened 'till the aircraft comes to a complete halt & the SeatBelt sign is switched off. Ensure that you carry all your belongings. You may now use your cell phones as we have come out of the main runway. Thank you for flying with Lee-Kim Airways and we hope you will give us an opportunity to serve you again. Have a pleasant stay in the Philippines!", the flight attendant informed us right before the thunder was heard.
Mag-isa ako ngayon dahil kailangan nina mommy and daddy si Yvo at Victor. Hindi na ako nakaangal pa nang sabihin nila iyon dahil wala naman akong karapatan since, they are the ones who feed me, clothe me and provide me everything I want and need.
I was waiting for my phone to turn on and had it leveling my face when I saw someone's reflection on it. It took me a second to quickly look up, but then got disappointed when I saw an old man passing by in front of me.
I went inside the airport to supposedly get my things but then I saw tall built men wearing a tuxedo, standing on both sides of the hallway while holding my stuff.
I recognized them as my bodyguards because of the cursive G mark on their uniforms. Everyone was staring at them cautiously, confused, yet scared, as to why there are a couple of male species standing like military men inside the airport.
Napailing na lamang ako. So much for trying to avoid attention when attention seeks to find me.
I was expecting a Range Rover but the boys led me to the open area of the airport. After awhile, a chopper was slowly coming down from above which made every filipinos panicked.
I rolled my eyes. They really never learn!
"Good afternoon, Miss Gonzales."
I just timidly smiled at the captain while I let my bodyguards do the safety belts on me and hand me the big headphones.
"First, we are going to arrive at the Gonzales Mansion before we go directly to Gonzales Empire," he explained. "Then I was instructed to take you to your lolo's school so you can process your files immediately."
Pagod akong tumango sa kanya bago sumandal sa bintana. The captain continued on informing me but I tuned him out and focused my attention outside. There were filipinos glaring at my chopper. Bumuntong hininga ako.
Can't blame them. They've never expected someone exposing a really luxurious ride.
Napapikit ako at hinilot ang aking sentido dahil bigla itong kumirot. Thinking about everything is making my head hurt, I should stop worrying about school.
