Chesca
Just like what the captain informed me before, the course of the chopper is headed to the Gonzales Empire. It is located at the Regan Island, the one that Lucy, Mira and I were talking about.
It was a 45-minute flight but I enjoyed it since the two cousins of mine were fast asleep the whole flight. It gave me a worthwhile peace of mind, made me able to think things through if my decision to not follow my parents' orders would be a great idea. Or the consequences waiting for me would be bigger and heavier than last year when I disobeyed a really important rule of theirs.
Or will it be okay for them to give me this chance to decide on my own. It doesn't scare me, really, I only feel . . . nothing. I've disobeyed them so many times, but I never broke their rule: The Law of Decision.
Much to my not-so-surprised mind, we arrived at our Empire Estate fast. This was the only place that I could never call home, nor it has beauty in it. It's big and comfy, yet it's too massive for a small family, much less consumes more electricity and water, so I really disliked the idea of having a mansion for a home. But my parents liked it and I have no choice but to agree, besides, I have no right to object.
But I'm still thankful for giving me a roof over my head.
I hopped out of the car and let my bodyguards carry my sleeping cousins all the way to the house. They'll be putting them in one room. The two, Mira and Lucy, are surprisingly close and doesn't want to leave without the other half. Sweet.
The total measurement of the Gonzales Estate is 1,200 hectares, I don't know what's similar to its size but you could say that our land occupies a little percent of the island. The house is placed at the center of it while clear and green grass surrounds the area.
A forest lies beyond the back of the house, I liked that they didn't touched any of the trees. A garden hides behind our crazy maze far East of the place and a massive lake at the southern part of the land completes its beauty.
The house is made of wood and bricks, I don't know why my parents disliked cemented walls but it's great. I kind of liked the ambiance.
Massive glasses were made to occupy almost half of the walls. Mahogany double doors and windows sets its sophistication. Wooden staircases, tiled bar counters, mahogany floors with carpets on top. Small coffee tables and priceless sofas from Paris, Britain and America are what makes the house look modernized.
Why do I get to live here when I'm all alone?
I deeply sighed before I climbed up the stairs and went into my room. The familiar color of dark brown and maroon walls welcomed me, I turned on the lights that's dimmer than the chandelier here in my room and locked the door.
It was a king-sized room with a queen sized bed. Every furniture in my room, bedside table, coffee table, sofa, window sofa bed and my actual bed are all made of mahogany structures. I don't want it to be made of steel or metal, I want everything to be made of nature's beauty.
I know it's bad to cut trees but I always make sure that the workers plant trees right after they cut one. Never dreamed of mother nature punishing me for it, besides I always care for them.
