Dib and I made our way to the cafeteria. A sickening smell wafted through the doors. "That does not smell like food" I said plugging my nose. "Why does this place get worse every year?" I asked. "Welcome to school" Dib said with a chuckle. We made our way through the lunch line. As I received my "food" I looked down to what resemble that chunk of food you find at the bottom of the sink. I visibly gagged, as I followed Dib to his table. "(Y/N) I'd like you to meet my sister Gaz" he said pointing to a purple haired girl sitting across from him, she was playing some sort of video game. "It's nice to meet you Gaz" I said, sitting down next to Dib. "Hey" Gaz replied shortly as she continued to play her video game. "Gaz has also seen Zim without his disguise, although she refuses to admit he's an alien" Dib said while eating his food. "Yeah whatever" Gaz said uninterested. "Dib how can you eat that food?" I asked wrinkling my nose. "The taste actually isn't that bad if you don't breathe while eating it" he replied in between bites. I laughed at that. I stared at my food with disgust. After a moment I got a weird tingling feeling. The feeling you get when you're home alone, and you've just finished a scary movie in the dark. I looked up to see none other than Zim glaring at me. He switched angry glares from you to Dib repeatedly. His hands were folded calmly on the table in front of him. As if he was practicing proper posture for an interview. This was unnerving. You started tapping you foot ever so slightly as you started to become anxious. Zim must have noticed because his anger turned to a smirk on his face, he was clearly satisfied by your discomfort. Instead of staring back you bit your lip and looked at Dib, and tuned into his rant about aliens, and the supernatural forces of the world. Boy can he talk you thought as Dib drones on and on.

Finally the bell rings, and it's time to head back to class. You start to get anxious thinking about sitting next to Zim again. You slowly make your way to class, walking next to Dib. Gaz takes a turn and heads to her class. I wish I could go to her class you thought to yourself. Anything had to be better than Ms. Bitters and Zim. You make your way into class, and take your seat. Zim still has a smirk on his face as he takes his seat next to you. You try to hide your face with your arm as you pretend to rest your head, and look straight ahead. "Something seems to be bothering you human" Zim suddenly whispers in my direction. He has a look of pure triumph on his face as he stares at you, tapping pencil on the desk. You roll your eyes at him, and turn your attention back to the front of the class. Before she could even begin class, Ms. Bitters had fallen asleep at her desk. Oh great here we go you thought as you anticipated more annoyance from Zim. Sure enough he poked your arm with his pencil to get your attention. You turned to look at him, and he held up a sketch he had drawn. The sketch showed a stick figure girl on some sort of table, being dissected. "You're twisted" you whispered to him with anger. "You know how many humans go missing a day on this planet?" He asked, his smile growing wider. Zim leaned towards you, putting his face right in front of yours, "and do you know how many are never found?" He asks as his smile turns into a snarl. You could feel your eyes grow wide. Your heart starts to race, and you feel faint. Before you know what you're doing you slam your hand as hard as you can on your desk to wake Ms. Bitters up. Zim snaps back in surprise. Thankfully it works, as Ms. Bitters starts teaching class immediately, as if she wasn't just asleep a moment ago. You unsuccessfully try to focus on the lesson. Your mind is too preoccupied with avoiding Zim's stare, and you're impatiently waiting for the bell to ring. Finally after what seemed like a year, the bell signaling the end of the school day rings.

You take your time packing up your stuff, hoping Zim leaves first. You sigh in relief as he does. "Hey Dib I'll meet you out front" you call to him as you head to your locker. You find your locker, and quickly input the combination, reading it off the tiny slip the school gave you. Once finished you toss everything inside and slam the door shut. You scream as you see Zim's face right behind your locker door. "Was that necessary?" You squeaked. "Why I don't know what you mean human. I didn't do anything." He says innocently. "Good bye" I snapped as I turn to leave. I make it two steps before a hand grabs my wrist with surprising strength and tugs me back. Zim pushes you against the locker, and with one of his three fingers pushes right on the middle of your throat gently, keeping you in place. Zim positions his body right in front of you, blocking any escape. He leans forward and that terrifying snarl showing all of his sharp teeth is once again plastered on his face. "Make wise decisions you filthy human. I would hate to see you be another disappearing and never again found human" he snarls. Zim then vanishes just as quickly, and you're left standing at your locker alone. You place your hand on your chest to try and slow your heart. You shake as you make your way to the front of the school. This really was an interesting day.
