Watch dark brush of night
Stroke across blue skies
Shifting glowing hue
Tickling tired eyes
Watch clouds bubble up
Rival mountain range
Blush from drowsy sun
As we wait for change
Trees are turning black
With soft fading light
Stars begin to pop
Wishes start dark night
Eyelids start to droop
Eager for sheet nest
Pick up favorite book
Passage to night's rest
