My Saviour ¦¦ Park Ji Min

Prologue

Here I am. Once again. Moved to a new place in Korea. This time, Seoul.

"Yeon Woo-ahh, can you help me with these things?" my mom called out. Perhaps it's her laptop again. My mom isn't familiar with the modern technology. She never even use it before. But since my mom and my dad are divorced, she started to using them. We move to Seoul because she got a job here. I don't know what kind of job it is but it's the reason she started using a laptop. Since then, we have been moving to places frequently.

Back then, she worked very hard to raise our family. I used to work as a part-timer, being 18 years old at that time, after school without her permission just so that I could support us. We were very poor before this. Looking back, I could even say that we look devastated. We keep moving from one place to another because of my mom's clumsy attitude. Every job she does, went wrong. For an example, she used to work as a farmer. On her first day, she already showed her clumsiness. She dropped a pot and it is 5,000,000 Won fancy pot. Nuts isn't it? A year has passed, thankfully, we are doing much better now. Mom have a pretty high salary job now. However, we still have debts to pay...

I stopped cleaning my room and ran downstairs, "Yes mom, I'm coming!"

"How would you transfer this to my laptop?", showing me her external drive.

"They didn't teach you, mom?" I asked.

Mom let out a huffed and rolls her eyes, "If they did, I wouldn't bother to call you"

Yeah, right. What an idiot. I mentally facepalmed. I smiled at her furred eyebrows expression and started to teach her. I'm trying my best here to make her understand. Quite a few try and errors.

Eventually, she finally understood the way to transfer a file using the external drive. But I still show her one final time to ensure she get that into her head so that I don't have to go up and down the stairs. Mom.. have a quite thick skull I would say. Not that she's stubborn even though she is, but sometimes mom takes time to register certain information into her brain.

Later that day

I woke up today realising that I still need to settle my university documents. Despite being too young to work, I really need it because the expenses here is high.

"I baked you some cupcakes!" said mom soon as I stepped into the kitchen. I looked at the cupcakes. It's burnt. Is it even edible?

"Uh.. mom. I think I'll eat that later, okay? I have to finish settling the documents. I'll see you when I'm back, mom!" I rushed to the door after waved to my mom. Without realising, I bumped into a wall. Geez, why in the world would someone built a wall in the middle of the sidewalk? I rubbed my temple, wincing in agony. Then I heard a voice, "Are you okay, Miss?" Hold on a minute, did a wall just talked to me? I immediately looked up to see the face but it was blinded by the sunlight. Then I see a tall male figure in front of me.

"Oh my goodness! I'm very sorry, I didn't see you there!" I quickly bowed to him. "Hey it's okay." He said in between his chuckles. "Are you new in this neighbourhood by any chance?" He asked.

I looked up to take a glance at the man I'm talking to. I could see him vividly at first and slowly the full face started to form fully. This man... he look so gorgeous it's almost surreal! Is this even real or have I lose my eyesight after I bumped onto him? He have such small eyes, pointy nose, high cheekbones and look at those lips... I shook my head repeatedly knocking some sense back into my head.

"Oh, uh yes! Just moved yesterday! But maybe you've seen my mom because she's been here since last week."

"You mean, Ms. Kang?" He asked. "Yup. That's her." I answered him with a blush plastered on my face. "Yeah I've met her before and by the way, I'm Park Ji Min but you can called me Jimin." He introduces himself.

"I'm Seo Yeon Woo. Nice to meet you." I smiled at him. I glanced at my wristwatch and I just remember that I work starts at 10 A.M. Fixing my hair and clothes, proceed to look at him and say "I got to go! See you again Jimin!" I glanced back at him and as I turned my head forward, I said to myself, today's gonna be a good one.
