Beach day

Emily's pov

I wake Bronx up at 9:30 am feed him and get him ready in swim shorts and a tee short with some flip flops

I give him a towel and we head out the door my hair all messy and I'm in leggings and a tight tee shirt that has the words "CALIFORNIA GIRLS" printed in white lettering on the front and on the back my last name "Ross"

I got it when I became a life guard at the beach on the north shore

When we get to Pete's new house I ring the door bell

Meagan answers the door in a sundress, a floppy hat, and sunglasses with a baby bump

She hugs me

"Emily I have heard great things" she says

"Meagan, same here" I lie

She smiles and lets us in

She stands a like a foot taller than me she's like 6 foot and I'm like 5'3

Pete is getting ready packing a picnic in his swim shorts an and a tee

Bronx hugs him and try talk before I hug and kiss Bronx and tell him I will pick him up at the end of the day

I hurry out and to the hospital again

"Joe again?" the lady asks

"Yes thank you" I say

I go to joe's office this time

I knock

"Come in" he says

I open the door

"Hey Emily" he says

"Hi" I say

"How was last night, did Pete come?" joe asks

I sit down I a chair across from him

"Yeah, he came at mid night and with surprises like he's moving back to California, and he's having another kid" I say

"Well" joe says

"Yeah, and I just dropped Bronx off at his new house to have a beach day" I say

"Wow" joe says

"Yeah" I say

"How is Patrick holding up since the band broke up?" he asks

"He seems to be doing ok I mean if he isn't he seems to hide it well from me and Maddie" I say

"Well Andy's vitals have risen a little today he looks like he could recover from his coma" joe tells me

"That's great!" I say

"Yeah, Andy's the only reason I have decided to be a doctor, so I guess I have to thank him if he wakes up" joe says

"Yeah your a great doctor joe" I say

"Well I have a lot of free time not being in the band in all" joe says

"You never told me how you were holding up" I say

"Uh, well I'm married I have a baby girl, I have good friends, a house, I have a good job with good pay, the only thing I'm missing is my passion" he says

"Joe I'm sorry" I say

"It's not your fault" he says

"Yes, I fell like it is, I'm the one who broke down an left Pete, then Pete broke down and left the band, this is all my fault!" I cry

"No" joe protests

"Yes, I'm the reason Andy drugged himself into a coma" I say

"That's not true! Andy wasn't stable" joe says
