water
dripping from the windows
onto the wooden floorboards
creaking as if every step could break them

water
splashing from the waves
onto the net
blowing back and forth in the wind

caressing the body
cleaning off all worries
occupying the mind

bringing life
being the home of countless species
the most desperately needed substance

water
ending lives
being a graveyard of an unnumbered sum of organisms

water
keeping unexplored depths
hidden underneath the clear surface
lurring in those who seek an adventure

water
fascinating man-kind for hundreds of years
the theme of many stories and songs
leaving those who hear them to wonder
