Chapter 23

He's staring straight into my eyes, straight into my soul

"You will be my undoing Alexandria. The ultimate death of me" he says softly rubbing my cheek

"You'll be mine" I say but it comes out as a whisper

He starts leaning in and u lean in too. He gets closer, his lips look so inviting

I put my hands on his chest and grab his shirt and hold on for dear life as he comes closer and-

"Ahem, excuse me Alpha" we hear an awkward voice say from the door

Xavier growls out in annoyance and buries his face in my neck making me giggle.

"I'm sorry to interrupt Alpha but-" the guys says

"Then why the fuck did you?" Xavier growls out making me giggle again

My neck is ticklish!

"We found Brittany, Alpha" the guy says

"Should you not be telling her parents that?" Xavier asks

"Yes, they're downstairs, but I think there's something you should know" he says

Xavier sighs

"I'll be right down" he says

The guy bows first then walks off

Xavier looks at me before motioning with his head for me to follow him

He walks out and I take a minute to compose myself before following him

"-all your fault!" I hear an hysterical voice say as I walk in

"She would have never done this if you had just accepted her as you were supposed to. She was made for you but you just had to go and-" the woman, who I'm assuming is Brittany's mother stops when she sees me enter "This bitch!"

I'm getting tired of random people calling me that. It's not as fun when they're just misusing the word like that

"If it wasn't for this bitch my daughter would still be here!!" She screeches. Yip, definitely Brittany's mom

"You drove my daughter away!" She says and points her finger at me

"Can everyone just shut up and tell me what's going on?" I ask walking over to Xavier and putting my hand on his back as I see that he's growing irritated and if this woman doesn't shut up he will shut her up, permanently

The guy that came to get Xavier speaks up

"We found Brittany" he says

"Yes you've said that already" I say rolling my eyes

"She ERM, she.." He trails off 

Xavier growls

"Out with it!" He says

"She... S-she..." He struggles

Suddenly it comes to me, his thoughts. I understand why he's struggling to say it

"She's joined the rogues" I say softly

Xavier growls and walks over to the window

"How did you know that?" Her mother asks "Did you do this?"

"How do I make someone join the enemy?" I ask giving her the 'are you serious?' face and rolling my eyes

"If you didn't come into Alpha's life Brittany would still be here! She'd be Queen! The title she deserved!" She says screaming and getting all up in my face "But no! You! You whore, you came and took everything from her!"
