Make-Up ~ A Jungkook x Reader

~Part Twelve~

Their moment is interrupted by Jungkook's cell phone, which buzzes loudly in his pocket. "Yes hyung?" Jungkook asks as he answers. "Really? I'll be there soon," he sighs, hanging up the call. "Need to go?" Y/N asks. "Yeah, Jimin-ssi said the others are questioning my honesty," he tells her, the pair walking over to the door. "Won't they be suspicious if you come back looking not-sweaty?" Y/N questions. "No, I'll just tell them I showered already," he winks. "As long as you don't get in trouble," Y/N smiles. "I'll see you tomorrow at work," Jungkook promises. "I hope so," Y/N jokes, standing on her tiptoes and giving the maknae a quick kiss on the cheek. "See ya," she smiles. "Bye," Jungkook blushes, heading out into the hallway, closing the door behind him.

Y/N flops onto her couch, turning on tv. The woman mindlessly watches whatever was on, her attention directed to thinking about a certain Maknae. Y/N stays like this for about a half hour until her phone buzzes.

Kookie💜: could u come by the dorms?

Y/N: sure?

Y/N: what's up?

Kookie💜: I gtg, I'll see u😘

Y/N puts her phone in her hoodie pocket, confused by the way JK is acting. "He never sends a kissing face," the make-up artist reflects, slipping on her shoes and heading out to her car. At a red light, the woman takes out her phone, texting Jungkook quickly.

Y/N: I'm omw, hope it's nothing bad :)

The make-up artist pulls up outside of the dorms shortly, walking into the lobby. This time, the receptionist doesn't question Y/N as she gets into the elevator.

Y/N knocks on the door to the apartment, hearing shuffling before it's opened by Jungkook. "Hey, what's up?" Y/N asks as Jungkook steps into the hallway with her. "They know," he admits, running a hand through his hair. "Wait, how?" Y/N asks, confused but not angry. "Jimin-ssi asked if I had fun, and the Hyungs caught on," he sighs, looking into Y/N's eyes. "I'm guessing they wanted to have a 'talk," Y/N guesses, flashing Jungkook a comforting smile. "Yeah," he nods, "that's ok right?" He checks quickly. "Yeah, let's get it over with," Y/N giggles, following the man into the apartment, JK closing the door behind her.

In the living room, the Hyungs are seated in a circle on the floor, two spots left open for the pair. "Hi guys," Y/N greets awkwardly, taking a seat. "Hiya," Namjoon smiles, calming Y/N's slight worries. "So our little Kook is breaking rules?" Taehyung comments, shaking his head in mock disappointment. "Oops?" Jungkook laughs, knowing very well his decision. "So, are you two official?" Hoseok asks, his eyes beaming with curiosity. "We're just dating," the pair say at the same time, locking eyes for a second and blushing. "Awwww I ship it~" Jin coos, teasing the two.

The group talks for a while, discussing how to handle the situation and then joking around. "Alright, well I'm gonna get some sleep, goodnight Y/N," Namjoon smiles, getting up and leaving. "Me too, see ya," Yoongi agrees quickly, following Namjoon into the hallway. "I'm gonna play Overwatch," Taehyung announces, leaving Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, and Y/N. "I think you guys are so cute together~" Jimin hums, "But I'm gonna get some rest too, goodnight!"

"Aish, my child is growing so fast, learning to disobey the company," Jin smiles as he wipes a fake tear, his inner JinHit coming through. "Jungkookie, don't you dare let her drive home at this hour," Jin threatens as he leaves, pointing to the clock which reads 11:30. "Well guess you're staying here again," Jungkook grins, Y/N smiling down at her lap. "C'mon, I'll give you some clothes," Jungkook gestures, walking side-by-side with her down the hallway. Digging out an oversized t-shirt and sweatpants, he hands them to the make-up artist. "Thank you," Y/N bows lightly, going into the bathroom and changing quickly, also taking the opportunity to brush her hair.

"So are we staying up?" Jungkook asks as the woman walks back out, the man sitting in his desk chair. "I don't mind, whatever you wanna do," Y/N hums, walking over casually and then seating herself on the maknae's lap. Jungkook immediately wraps his arms around her waist, holding her against his chest. "Am I your seat now?" He chuckles, resting his head on the woman's shoulder. "Yep, a very comfy one," she sighs peacefully, adjusting herself slightly. Jungkook doesn't respond, instead choosing to plant a light kiss on the woman's ear, causing her to blush intensely.

After a while of talking, the two lay down in Jungkook's bed, the two facing each other, Jungkook's hand lightly resting on Y/N's waist. "Wanna go on a date this weekend? To the one amusement park?" Jungkook suggests, his hand rubbing light circle on the woman's waist. "That sounds fun," Y/N agrees. "Then it's set," Jungkook grins, lightly pulling the woman into him, her head snuggled into his chest. "Sleep well," Jungkook hums, kissing Y/N's head lightly. "You too," she smiles, snuggling into the man more, the pair falling asleep quickly.

"Awww they're so cute!" Hoseok squeals. "Shhh, you're gonna wake them! Jin hisses lightly. "Mm, what?" Y/N groans, opening her eyes to see six boys staring at her. "Aish! What are you all doing?" Y/N asks, shocked. The make-up artist attempts to sit up, having a pair of strong arms trapping her down. Prying it off, the woman manages to sit up, waking JK up in the process. "Y/N," he hums, his brain and voice still groggy. "Rise and shine Kook," Namjoon chuckles, causing the Maknae to jolt up. "What are you all doing here?" He asks, surprised. "Well we needed to wake you both up," Taehyung says plainly.

"Please never do that again," Jungkook sighs after he finishes getting ready. "I'll meet you guys there," he tells the other members, following Y/N to her car. "I shouldn't take long, I can be quick," Y/N promises, pulling out into the street. "I know Noona," he smiles, turning the radio on at a low volume.

The pair quickly arrive at Y/N's apartment, heading into the elevator and into her entryway. "Wait here, you can do whatever you want," Y/N tells him, going into her room and shutting the door behind her. She quickly dresses herself, choosing a pair of black ripped jeans and a purple blouse. "You look nice, Noona," Jungkook compliments, sitting on the couch. "Thank you," Y/N smiles, walking to the door and slipping her shoes on. "Ready?" She asks, Jungkook nodding and joining her. Together, the pair go to Y/N's car, driving to BigHit.

"Let's take the elevator, I'm lazy," Y/N chuckles. "Ok," Jungkook laughs, stepping in after the make-up artist. "What floor are you going to?" The brown haired boy asks. "Five," Y/N grins, catching his reference to their first meeting. "You're in a hurry, right?" Jungkook smiles, pressing the button for the sixth floor, where the media room is. "I can't believe you remember," Y/N bursts out laughing, unable to keep acting. "Of course I do," JK chuckles as the door opens. "Now let's go, I have a comeback to monitor."

A few hours pass of the boys and their staff monitoring tweets, views, comments, and all the feedback for their Persona comeback. "You boys did great," Sejin compliments, reading a news article. "Thanks you Sejin-ssi," Namjoon bows, the other members following his lead. "The fans love it," Y/N grins to Jungkook, who flashes her an appreciative bunny smile in return.

After a work day of feedback, Sejin releases everyone for the night, giving one last congrats to the members. "I'm so proud of you guys!" Y/N exclaims, bouncing up and down. "Thank you, Noona," Jungkook laughs, taking her hand and giving it a squeeze before releasing it again. "You guys should get rest, you have a lot of appearances coming up," Y/N warns after they get to the parking lot. "Thank you, Y/N-ssi, they won't listen to me," Jin laughs, leading the way to the van. Everyone wishes Y/N goodbye, Jungkook staying behind for a moment. "I'll see you tomorrow," he promises, smiling. "I hope so," Y/N teases, winking before getting into her car.

That night the make-up artist stays up to watch the "Boy With Luv" music video a few more times before putting her phone down and going to sleep, her mind filled with "Oh my my my..."
