Make-Up ~ A Jungkook x Reader

~Part Five~

"How was hide and seek?" Jungkook asks casually, seating himself on his desk chair. "I had fun, even despite that fact that I knew no places to hide," Y/N laughs, standing near Jungkook's desk. "You're allowed to sit on my bed y'know," Jungkook teases, leaning back in his seat. Y/N plops down onto the edge of the boy's bed, blushing in slight embarrassment. The two sit for a minute, Y/N studying her environment while the Maknae studies his new staff member.

"Hey, do you wanna play Overwatch?" Jungkook asks, turning on his computer. "Kookie, it's an online multiplayer, you can't have two on one device," Y/N reminds. "I meant I could just watch you play," Jungkook says quickly, chuckling. "Oh," Y/N laughs, "Sure, I'd be down." Jungkook loads up the game, standing up to let Y/N take the chair. "Thanks," the woman nods, sliding into the seat. Jungkook just smiles in response, walking out of the room. "Wait what why'd he leave," Y/N questions, very confused at the boy's disappearance.

A minute later, Jungkook returns, bringing a kitchen chair with him. "I didn't feel like standing," he chuckles, pulling the seat over and sitting next to Y/N. "Reasonable," the woman laughs, finally loading into a round of quick play. "Who ya playing?" Jungkook questions, looking at Y/N. "I think Widowmaker, since it's defense on Numbani and there's a lot of good sniping spots," Y/N answers, selecting the character. "Smart," Jungkook nods. A few minutes into the game, Y/N already has the gold medal for most kills. "You're doing awesome, I'm not the best at sniping," Jungkook laughs. "I'm sure you're not bad," Y/N reassures, keeping her eyes glued on the screen.

After a few more minutes pass, the round finally finishes, Y/N's team being the victorious one. "That was stressful," Y/N laughs, slipping off her headset. "I've never seen you that concentrated," Jungkook chuckles, "Although I have only seen you for two days," he adds, freezing as he realizes what he said. "Wait, wait, not that kind of seeing," he stammers, light blush growing on his and Y/N's cheeks. "It's cool, I get what you meant," Y/N nods, letting out a laugh to try and ease the tense atmosphere. "Sorry," Jungkook chuckles.

"Y/N-ssi! Kook! Food's ready!" Namjoon calls from outside the door. "Coming!" Jungkook calls back, standing up and grabbing his chair. Y/N stands too, following the boy out to the kitchen. The rest of the group is already seated at the table with bowls of seaweed soup, leaving Y/N and Jungkook to slide into the two empty spots, which are across from each other. Y/N takes the seat with a chair next to Jimin and Namjoon, while Jungkook places his stolen chair in the gap between Yoongi and Taehyung. "What were you two up to?" Hoseok asks, taking a bite of his food. "Playing Overwatch," Y/N replies simply, eating some of the food Jin had made. "Oh nice," Taehyung comments. "She's really good Hyung," Jungkook tells him. "Oooo, really?" Tae asks, excited at the prospect of a new Overwatch friend. "Yeah! She had like 20 elims as Widow!" Jungkook brags. "Damn! That's awesome Y/N-ssi," Tae compliments. "Thanks guys," Y/N mumbles sheepishly, embarrassed by the praise.

The group of eight all chat and eat dinner, eventually finishing the meal. "Have fun cleaning up Tae~" Y/N hums, teasing. "Actually I will," Tae jokes as he walks over to the sink. "Well, I should probably take Y/N home," Jungkook comments. "Really? So soon?" Jin questions, tilting his head like a confused puppy. "I mean, it's only seven, we could go out and do something," Namjoon suggests. "Is that ok, Noona?"Jungkook checks, looking at her with concern. "Yeah, I'm down for that," Y/N nods. "Yay! Let's go to the amusement park!" Jimin cheers. "I'm fine with that," Yoongi adds. "Then it's a plan," Jungkook nods.

"I'll drive," Jin offers, leading the way out the door. Y/N walks beside the Maknae to the car. She steps back to let him get in first, sliding in after him. "What are you gonna ride Y/N-ssi?" Jimin asks excitedly. "Definitely no roller coasters," Y/N laughs. "What? Why no roller coasters Noona," Jungkook pouts. "I hate them, they make me anxious," Y/N shudders. "What if I'm with you?" Jungkook whispers. "I'll think about it Kook," Y/N murmurs, giggling.
