All day all I heard is, "Look at the new girl." I am so glad tryouts are now. "Alright these two days will be your chance to prove you can play on a boys team," the coach says. "Yes sir," I respond. I run out to the field just as the quarterback was throwing a pass. I intercepted and took off to the field goal. I watch as player after player comes at me and misses. I run to the field goal an trow the ball down "Touch down newbies" Coach yells. We continue doing different plays. Practice was over an coach said "Come over here take you helmet off and take a knee." I take my helmet off and it becomes dead silence. "Wait your a girl," someone asks? "No not at all I just have boobs and a vagina because I'm a guy," I reply sassily. Coach tries to hide his laughter. "Coach are you going to let a girl play," the QB asks? Coach nods his head and says, "Yes she's one of the best players I've seen in a while." I see everyone speechless. "Look I'm not going to take any varsity places hell I'll play on JV as long as I can play," I state. I see a few nods.
