Chapter One-Hide and Seek

3rd Person POV
"She goes by White Raven and can only be found if she wants to be" Fury said to the people sitting around him.
The said people were Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rodgers, Sam Wilson and Maria Hill. They had just been attacked by the winter soldier, who Steve found out to be his long lost friend Bucky. Three quarters of the four had thought that Nick Fury was dead, in fact they had seen his 'dead' body. Yet here he was, albeit looking worse for wear, in a bed alive.
"So you're saying that the one person who can predict what hydra will do and how they think, is impossible to find?" Sam questioned.

Fury glanced at him and thought for a second.
"Not necessarily. Her twin brother, agent Brendon Urie, would know where she is" Fury replied.
Natasha was sat deep in thought. She knew exactly who the twins were and knew exactly how they thought.
"Great. Now where is he?" Steve asked.
He was still trying to cope with knowing that his friend was alive but a killer who couldn't remember him. His rashness was brushed off by everyone for that fact.
"He lives in a quiet place in Oregon. Only a state over, he's one of my best agents so we didn't want him far away" Fury explained.
Natasha grimaced as she felt the small pain in her shoulder while trying to move. Although she was an assassin, she had gotten attached. Especially to the slightly younger twin, Everlyn Urie.

"How come he's not working if he's so good of an agent?" Sam questioned.
Fury groaned slightly as he sat up.
"Both him and his wife are agents. Though his wife is eight months pregnant so it kinda hinders being agile" Fury remarked sarcastically.
Natasha looked at Fury slightly wide eyes. She didn't know that agent Sarah Orzechowski was pregnant.
"You looked shocked agent Romanoff" Fury remarked.
"I just didn't know" She mumbled.

Time Skip
Steve, Natasha and Sam pulled up outside the quiet cottage/farmhouse. It was out the way and at the end of a stone path. Exiting the car, they all got out and walked up the porch. Steve knocked on the door as shouting came from inside.
"Get the damn door!" A female voice called.
Natasha immediately recognised it as Sarah's voice.
"Why can't you i'm upstairs!" A male voice called.
Natasha also recognised as Brendon the twin of the woman they were looking for.
"I'm fucking eight months pregnant with your child!" She yelled back.
Sam and Steve looked a little shocked at the shouting while Natasha stood with a small grin playing on her lips. They would always fight like that.

The door swung open as a half naked man appeared. He had stunning brown eyes and soft brown hair, although it was wet. Black jeans were around his waist while he didn't have a top on. It was clear he had just gotten out of the shower.
"Nat!" The man said excited as he brought her into a hug.
Natasha hugged back and smiled slightly. As they pulled away, Brendon's eyes scanned over Sam then Steve.
"Captain America. Wow" Brendon said jokingly.
He shook hands with Steve and Sam and invited them in.

"Who was it?" Sarah asked as she emerged and lent on the doorway.
She stopped in her tracks when her eyes landed on the three standing next to her fiancé.
"Nat, hey!" Sarah welcomed.
The two women embraced while Steve and Sam watched. They knew that Nat had known the pair but didn't know how closely.
"You're so...pregnant" Natasha said with a chuckle.
"Glad you noticed but i'm assuming this is shield work and i really don't want to listen" Sarah said and left after exchanging goodbyes.

The group moved into the living room and sat down.
"So Captain America shows up on my doorstep, should i be worried?" Brendon asks.
"We're looking for your sister, Everlyn?" Steve questioned.
"Oh what's she done now?" He asked.
Steve stood up and lent against the wall, finding the position more comfortable so he could think more.
"Nothing. Hydra compromised shield. We need her help" Nat explained.
Brendon thought, clearly shocked at shield. He knew it was the damn scientist feeding hydra agents information but everyone thought he was long dead. When Brendon pointed it out to Fury, they started watching agents and knew some agents weren't on their side. He didn't think that Shield would collapse so badly to hydra.
"Fury never told us, but what exactly makes her so special?" Sam questioned.
Everyone was frustrated about the situation and needed her help to disable security of Hydra's on their ships (this wasn't true but let's pretend, ok? Ok).

"Me and my sister were tested on by hydra from when we were practically born. She has cyrokinesis, meaning she can control ice. I meanwhile have hemokinesis, the ability to control blood" He explained.
Sam and Steve seemed a little shocked, like they had been all day. Being tested on like that must've been hard and seeing one of them starting a family was heartwarming to say the least.
"Pretty cool" Sam admitted, meaning the powers.
Brendon stood up and retrieved his phone from the counter. Scrolling through his phone, it only took a few minutes to narrow down her location.
"She's in California" He simply stated.
Steve nodded absentmindedly before standing up straight.
"Well it was lovely coming here and meeting you but we should leave" Steve explained.
"Of course. Tell my sister to come visit"

Time Skip (Again)
Natasha's POV
I felt my heart pumping to an unsteady beat. I wanted to see Everlyn again. I missed her. I missed training her and letting her almost beat me. I hadn't seen her in over two and a half years. Ever since that mission- no... i'm sure she's over it. I want to tell her the truth, if she'd let me.
"You seem to know this woman?" Steve asked, breaking me away from my thoughts.
Me and Steve were in the front seat, Steve driving, while Sam was in the back asleep. The hydra launch was in 36 hours so we needed to hurry.
"I trained her along with Clint when she first joined shield. She was only a teenager. I say that but she was 18. Only three years younger than me at the time. Over two years ago, we went on a mission. Let's just say it ended badly for our relationship" I explained.

(A/N:So Nat was 30 in the winter soldier so i tried to make it so it wasn't a huge age gap. So Everlyn is 27 at this time. Since it hasn't been confirmed when Nat joined Shield, i'm going to say she was 20 when she joined. 21 when she met the twins. Hopefully when the black widow movie comes out i can make readjustments in accordance)

"Do you want to talk to her alone?" Steve questioned.
I thought his offer over. I knew she could hurt me badly if she wanted but no matter how bad our relationship was, she couldn't do it. I suddenly remembered one time when she accidently hurt me with her powers and she felt guilty for weeks afterwards. If push came to shove, i could probably beat her anyway.
"That would be nice. She can be deadly if she wants to be, not that she will hurt me" I explained as Steve nodded while his eyes stayed trained on the road.
