The front door opened and in walked the older girl who I've been waiting for all day. Today, I didn't really feel the purpose of getting out of bed or rather anything. I wasn't upset, but I honestly didn't know what I was feeling so I probably am. Sabrina had to go to work so I stayed in bed, staring at nothing with no energy.

I heard the door open and footsteps echo through the hallway before my bedroom door creaked opened to reveal Sabrina. "Hi, Y/N!" She greeted, cheerily and I nodded to acknowledge her.

"Hi." I responded softly, my voice barely above a whisper. She changed to her shorts and a crop top before laying down next to me. She put her hand on my forehead, most likely checking to see if I had a fever. "I don't have a cold or anything." I answered.

"Are you tired?" I shook my head no. "How do you say the first letter in the alphabet in French?"

"A-" Something was put in my mouth and I frowned, but left it in until it started beeping. She took the thermometer out and looked at my temperature. "I told you I wasn't sick." I said when she showed me the number, which showed my normal temperature.

"What've you been up to?"

"I don't know. I've been staring at the wall since you left." I responded with a small smile. "If I'm sleepy, then maybe I just made myself bored."

"This is the fourth day in a row. Did you at least eat something?" She questioned, quickly adding, "Water isn't food, it's a beverage."

"I know." I mumbled and sat up, "I've just haven't been hungry or had enough energy to do anything other than breathe."

"Come on. Shower, then I'll take you out to dinner."

"I'm tired though and I'm not hungry." I replied and laid back down, turning to lay on my side.

"Y/n, is there something going on?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"Is today the anniversary of something?"

"You ask a lot of questions, and no. I just haven't been really energized." I replied and closed my eyes. "Now, I'm going to sleep."

"Fine. Leave me to babysit all by myself. I guess I'll just have to imagine being a single parent. Sigh, and I was really hoping you would be excited." She looked down, clearly faking disappointment but I still got up.

"Okay, okay. I guess I'll get out of bed." I mumbled. "If I knew you liked babysitting, I would've let you babysit my little brother."

"Wait," I guess I never mentioned I have siblings, "You have a sibling. How come you never told me?"

"You never asked and I don't talk to my siblings much. I have a little brother and then a big brother."

"I want to meet them." I quickly shook my head no.

"Y-you can meet my little brother but not my older one." I said. "My older brother lives in a different state and lives with my birth mom."

"Do you miss your siblings?" She asked and I shrugged in response. I got up and started putting on clothes.

"It's an neutral thing for me, because I haven't seen my blood related family in a while. I haven't really thought about them much lately, and I try not to care about seeing them. Except for my little brother, because I visit him most of the time that you're not here or I have a concert or something. He's adorable and he's seven now." I said. "Now, let's go babysit and help raise a baby together."
