Chapter 30: Link Joker Rises!? Kiniro's Spirit To Save A Friend!

As Kurai and Kiniro had felt the quakes from the other room the both of them had rushed down the corridor to make it to Aichi's chamber where it seemed to be strongest and as they were getting close the roof suddenly collapsed in front of them making their advanced much tougher.

"We have to be careful" Kiniro said then glancing to Kurai. As soon as he said that the quakes seemed to stop as they both looked around "It seems to have calmed down.." Kurai muttered but he still had a bad feeling about everything

Kiniro hearing his friends concerns about the quake he looked to him. "What was the cause of that anyway?" he asked as Kurai sighed "The protection around Aichi is being broken apart. As Aichi's chosen fighters fall so does the seal they formed around him" he explained

"So does that mean Abyss is also being freed?" Kiniro asked beginning to move rubble

Suddenly another voice spoke up "That's right, if the seal falls so does the protection against Abyss" A voice spoke up as the figure it belonged to approached to reveal Izo who had Katashi and the others with him "Everyone! I'm glad to see everyone is safe" Kiniro cheered with relief as he approached everyone

"Yeah barely" Katashi said as he rubbed the back of his head "I see I wasn't the only one who couldn't stop them" Kurai commented as Hiyama had an anger mark appear as he glared and Hitomi simply rolled her eyes at Hiyama's reaction "Unfortunately yes" she had commented bowing a bit as Yudai grinned "We managed to come out on top" he commented

Kurai as the short exchanged was made it made him think of the days that he spent with everyone and then he bowed to Izo and the others. "I apologise for everything I caused" he said

Hikaru was the first to speak as he shakes his head "Everything worked out so we should move past it" he said smiling as Kiniro thinking the same thing smiled as well taking a break from moving rubble patting Kurai on the back as the latter couldn't help but chuckle "I suppose you're right" he said

"Argh! Can we cut the chatter and just get moving?" Hiyama complained as Nagito would take a moment to go over to Hiyama and hit him upside the head "Ow!!" he yelled in pain "We'll get to Aichi's chambers and stop Abyss' revival before it's too late" Nagito said as everyone nodded understanding what they needed to do.

After that they had finally managed to get through the rubble and would rush down the hallway as they would soon arrive to a wide open room with many broken down pillars and cracked the floor cracked surrounding the area they stood in the room where they could see a throne at the end of it out of the way of the broken down building.

"So the seals really are broken..that means the Quatre Knights were defeated" Kurai stated as they would then take notice of Kourin tending to Aichi as she had her deck to her chest

"Kourin!" Kiniro called out but Kurai stopped him from advancing as Serra had revealed himself as they all looked to him to him "So you finally showed yourself huh?" Katashi muttered "Why did you betray Aichi!?" Kourin questioned Serra "Betray?" Kiniro wondered as it seemed the two hadn't taken notice of them yet "It looks like the Quatre Knights had a mole" Nagito commented

"Betray? Oh please" Serra responded shaking his head "From the very beginning I joined the Quatre Knights with the intentions of using Aichi Sendou so that I could obtain the power of Link Joker" he explained having a calm expression on his face "What!?" Kourin said in disbelief

"That bastard!" Hiyama said with irritation "You have to stay calm idiot, lashing out isn't gonna change anything" Hitomi stated coldly but she was also irritated to know that Serra really had used Aichi for his own gain "He had been waiting for the right moment to show himself" Katashi added
