Kenna Dibny's life used to be simple, beautifull and seemingly everlasting. Little did she know, it would soon turn into a living hell. When the particle accelerator exploded on earth-26, it hit the Dibny girl at the age of 13. The world didn't know what they would do, they didn't understand. What they don't understand, they fear. And what they fear? They seek to destroy.
The world saw meta's, not as fellow humans effected by a great tragedy, but as monsters. Monsters that posed a danger to their world. That's when the manhunts started. Mass genocide. People ratting out their own friends, their own family, their own sister, daughter, son or brother. Anyone who was effected.
Kenna was kicked out by everyone, her speed being the seal on her death certificate in the eyes of the government. Except for her brother who promised to be with her 'till the end of the line. So she ran with her brother to survive as fast as she could, vowing deep down inside that she would help other meta's and that they would fight back for revenge. One year had passed and Kenna now had a full grown army of meta's, ready to attack the capitol of the U.S.A. But that's when they swooped in.
Law enforcement killed every single one of them, slaughtered like animals. Kenna became a prisoner of war. Another year had passed since she was shipped off to a meta holding facility, surviving a daily dose of torture, watching. Waiting, until there was a chance one slim chance to run. But anything that she had left, she would lose.
She tried so hard to escape and succeeded but lost her brother in the process. She became enemy number one of the state, named 'Maleficent'. Five years passed and the pain of losing every single thing became to much. She hided but not good enough. The government found her once more, the last remaining meta of the whole world, ready to burn her at the stake. But it was only in doing so that she ran, scorched half to death,chased by hundreds and hundreds of people who were far to slow for her
And it was then, that she saw something. It was then that she ran faster then she ever had. It was then that she ran so, so fast , that she didn't even properly knew what was happening. It was then, that she escaped. It was then, that she arrived on earth-1. But at what cost?
