Snow fell in my bedroom in the middle of June,
It melted so quickly, flooded with tears caused by you.
Never have I ever felt such a calculated touch,
Everything you've done since then has been too much.
I can say without hesitation,
That you, my love, are the reason,
The reason why I shiver,
Even though it's far from winter.
It was the coldest summer,
Hope I never have another like that.
The emotions you once felt got lazy,
The words you crafted drove me crazy,
Think I lost my baby,
No one wants to save me.
It was the coldest summer,
Hope I never have to go back.
The tears began to freeze when July hit,
Icicles formed, dangerous droplets.
I thought forgetting about you was for the best,
But, why would I do that to myself?
I don't want to forget the chilly night in mid July,
When you got emotional looking at the perfect sky.
But, I know I have to watch you go,
I know I have to let you go.
It was the coldest summer,
Hope I never have another like that.

August came and heartbreak went,
At least, that's what I tell myself.
Fall is here and you are not,
Finding me, a boy once lost.
It was the coldest summer ever recorded,
The sun's crisp rays felt morbid.
But, it's all in the past,
I'm wondering how long this ease will last.
Because I'm okay without you now,
I've let you go like you let me down.
