Kate POV
We reached back and now in my car.
Its all silent.

Only our breathes.

Suddenly my phone ringed.

I accept it and Melanie's voice cane through my car

"Heyyy all cool?" She asked.

"Its a yea " kaden said.

Silence

"God I missed you . " she said.

"Yeah I am such a hot figure right " he said.

"Guys n their boastful activities" she said

"So Kate when are you joining back" she asked.
The question I have been dreading

Kaden looked at me.
I sighed

"I am quitting for good " I said

Silence

''Ohhh I can understand " she said.

"One more minute. Dude I will call you later there's a meeting now. God knows what will happen now" she said n ended the.call.

"Stop the car " he said.

I did the same.

"Kate" he said.

"I - I can't go to that place or I can't do that job anymore. Its - it's I don't know why I can't. All these years were" I couldn't talk anymore bcoz Kaden  lifted me to his lap

" did I ask you anything " he asked holding my chin with his finger.

I shakes my head

He wiped my tears.
Stupid me.
Crying!????

"Kate you do not have to answer that bcoz i know I won't judge you n u know that
Now. I am here alive breathing in front of your eyes n meeting my wife after a long time and u cry. " he said grumbling.

I laugh.
"Oh God I missed it "
N that happened.
We kissed.
Such a longing feel.

I suddenly paused.
He groaned

"You are hurt I shouldnt be sitting in your lap " I said trying to wiggle from his hold.

Like I said try .

"I am not that hurt to not hold my wife so shush. " n he continued what we were doing.

I giggled.
