School for troubled students.. Clementine wondered, if anyone would want to bully her. Of course she could defend herself. But was it worth it? After all, she didn't care. Her mother just wanted to get rid of her, maybe it would be easier if someone slammed her head against the wall, and she dies on the spot. At least she wouldn't have caused her mother any more problems, right?

She walked around the school grounds where there were a lot of people. They sat differently on benches, on the ground .. They had fun together, laughing together. All that can be expected from school. Except that Clementine knew no one at all. She knew it would be nice to find friends. She couldn't spend all those days alone, right?

She sighed, looking for people who did not look like pretentious bastards.

She saw two harmless faces. There was a pleasant aura around them, so she took her chance. A brown-haired boy with darker skin sat on the bench. He had a book in his hand, and chatted with the girl beside him. Girl with red hair in a bun. She looked so cute, the boy was lucky.

"Uh, I'm sorry to interrupt you in your conversation. Could I bother you two for a moment?" Clementine spoke, trying to sound normal. Still, she looked nervous.

"Of course, honey. What you need? You new here?" The girl spoke and smiled at Clementine, who froze in place. How could she have been so cute?

"Uh, yeah. Today is my first day, and I need some help. Will you mind?" She asked, looking at the boy who just shook his head. It didn't bother the girl either.

Clementine sighed with relief, and sat down on the grass. They both watched her with a smile, and she couldn't help but smile at them too. Why not? They both looked pretty nice.

"Maybe I should introduce myself, I'm Clementine."

"And we should, too. I'm Ruby, this bookworm next to me is Aasim." Ruby spoke, and Clem nodded at them.

"Nice to meet you, Clementine. It's nice to see new faces that don't look like they want to kill everyone. We have too many of them here." Aasim chuckled and looked at Ruby, who slammed his shoulder hard.

"What brings you here, Clementine? This is school for troubled students." Ruby started the conversation, and Aasim cried in pain, holding his wounded shoulder. The girl must have the power.

"My mom put me here to get rid of me, i guess." She replied, scratching the back of her neck. "But to tell you, I've done a lot of bad things in the past. Maybe that's why she sent me here, I don't really know."

"It's all right, hun. Everyone has their own bad side." Ruby smiled even more at her. "No one will judge you here."

"That's not entirely true. There are a lot of bad people, you should stay away from them. They like to bully newcomers." Aasim spoke, looked concerned. "They're able to figure out what you're here for, and then they show it everywhere."

"I suppose they did it to you?" Clem asked, seeing his gaze, she stopped. "Sorry, you don't have to tell me-"

"It's alright. Yes, they did this to me. I've been in hell for a week. If it hadn't been for Ruby and the others, I'd probably go crazy." He chuckled and looked at the group of rough-looking people. "Do you see that girl with a shaved head? She belongs to them. Her name is Ava, she is able to hurt people a lot. Try to stay away from her."

Clementine looked in the direction Aasim pointed to, and in the distance the girl really was. Shaved head, tall, strong girl. But when Clementine looked at her, she didn't look so frightening. She had a pretty smile. A very pretty smile. But she wouldn't tell them that.

"Hi, guys! How are you? I see there is a new, pretty face?"

There was an unknown voice as Clementine turned back to see a tall girl with long red hair. She smiled broadly at her, one of the most beautiful smiles Clem had ever seen. She didn't even notice that she was looking stupidly at her. The girl, of course, noticed.

"Hi, Sophie. This is Clementine, today is her first day. She came to meet us, to talk." Ruby said with smile, standing with Aasim off the bench. Clementine stood up and swallowed. The girl was really tall, she had to raise her head to look into her face.

A girl named Sophie looked at Clementine's eyes. As if she were starting to hypnotize her, because Clem felt she was drooling.

"Nice to meet you, Clementine!" Sophie said loudly, then turned to Ruby and Aasim. "The others are waiting for us, I went to find you two. Clementine, do you want to come with us? We all go swimming, you should go too."

"Uh, nice to meet you too, Sophie." Clem was nervous. But who wouldn't? Sophie was really pretty. "I don't know, I'd like to go. But I still don't know where my room is. I think I'll let it pass, but thank you."

"Huh, that's a shame." Sophie looked really disappointed at how she decided. "Next time I'll take you with us! See you, princess!"

And with that, Sophie ran away, but she waved her. Ruby rolled her eyes and said goodbye to her. Aasim waved her too, and they left Clementine alone.

Clementine just stood still for a moment. Sophie was really something, and what was she experiencing in her heart? That was something she liked. She smiled after a long time, hoping she wouldn't be so alone here after all.
