The book of Wiccan

My father Derek Goodwin, was an ancestor of he who shall not be named (devil) and he ruled the highest position at the academy, which my sister Luna who is a full witch tells me all the time. However she's tells me our mother was bad and my grandmother burnt her for ruining our family tradition, of birthing fully grown witches.

I live the life of a normal 17 year old, go to college get my education all that good stuff, of course I have my powers but I'm not a bad witch so I don't use them on other people. It's a week, so 7 days before my 18th birthday. However this day isn't a happy day I have to sign the book of Wiccan witch, so my sister tells me.

It's extremely hard to make a choice in what I want, but I've been told I have no choice and must sign the book on the night of the deepening moon on Friday 13th October, my birthday. I seriously don't wanna leave my friends Jess, Frank or Ron my boyfriend, I love them all only probably is they have known me for years and they don't even know of my secret. I've been dying to tell Ron for weeks but I guess it's too late, looks like I've just gotta pack up and leave to attend the academy of Wiccan witches.

I'll give u a bit of a break down on, The book of Wiccan. I know long title. Basically every Deepening moon happens every 25 years and one witch signs her soul over to the devil, in which you begin to attend the Academy of Wiccan Witches, where you as a witch complete your witch training and become a more powerful witch. However me according to my sister, I'm broken as I'm half human, so I must sign my name into the book of Wiccan so that the devil can repair me and turn me into the witch I was meant to be.

I tell my sister everyday  what about if I don't like the Academy, everybody there knows our father, what if I get punished for being half and half. She tells me not to worry and she coped just fine at the Academy. I'm petrified so I call Ron and ask him to meet me outside my house.

I wait sat on my doorstep, until I see his golden hair coming towards me.
"Lisa, what is it?" He says taking my hand, helping me up
"I have something to tell you" I say shivering and placing your hands in my pockets.
"What is it" he says taking hold of my waist pulling me close.
"Wait, not here" I say pulling away, and walking over to the forest behind my house.
"Lisa, where are you going" he yells after me, trying to catch up
"Just follow me" I say as I walk my way in between twisted, skinny, old trees.

We reach the coven, which is a flat piece land we're the deepening ceremony takes place at midnight. We stand there face to face, in silence.
"Can you tell me what's wrong now" he says as we stand in quietness.
"No talking, just watch and listen" I say looking up to the tree tops.
"Um okay sure" he says sitting onto a rock
"Listen to the wind" I tell him, as I reach my arms to the sky feeling the breeze through my fingertips.
